S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from the Sacramento County line to Bass Lake Road: Work resumes on a $31 million project by El Dorado County to add bus/carpool lanes to U. S. Highway 50 in south El Dorado County. U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from Bass Lake undercrossing to Shingle Springs Road: Motorists can expect east and westbound lane restrictions and

2 ramp closures from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday through Saturday. A contractor is scheduled to do grinding and paving work. U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) U.S. 50/Missouri Flat Interchange Improvements: Work resumes on a $40.5 million project. The project includes: reconfiguration to a four-lane interchange, auxiliary lanes between the interchange and the Forni Road/Western Placerville Drive Interchange; widening, addition of a bike/pedestrian facility between Missouri Flat Road and Placerville Drive. Completion is expected U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from Missouri Flat Road to Placerville Drive (Forni Road/ Fairgrounds): Motorists can expect east and westbound lane restrictions and ramp closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday. A contractor is scheduled to do highway construction. U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) in South Lake Tahoe: Work resumes on a $40.6 million project to widen shoulders, construct new sidewalks, add bike lanes, install new roadside drainage systems and improve signal operations from Trout Creek Bridge to Ski Run Blvd. Completion is expected in U. S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from Tallac Avenue to Bal Bijou Road: Motorists can expect #2 east and westbound lane and shoulder restrictions from (midnight Sunday) 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. (noon) Monday through (9 a.m. Friday) Friday. A contractor is scheduled to do paving work. U. S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from Fremont Avenue to Ski Run Boulevard: Motorists can expect #2 east and westbound lane and shoulder restrictions from (midnight Sunday) 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. (noon) Monday through (9 a.m. Friday) Friday. A contractor is scheduled to do drainage, curb, gutter, and sidewalk work. U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) in South Lake Tahoe: Work starts on a $7.3 million project to widen shoulders, construct new sidewalks, add bike lanes, install new roadside drainage systems and improve signal operations from Ski Run Boulevard to Wildwood Avenue. Completion is expected in 2013.

Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from Fairway Avenue to Wildwood Avenue: Motorists can expect #2 westbound lane and shoulder restrictions from 8 p.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday through (10 a.m. Friday) Friday. A contractor is scheduled to do drainage work. State Route 89 (Placer County) Work has begun on a $34 million project to rehabilitate stormwater drainage and treatment systems, realign the road, and widen shoulders to allow bicycles and places for cars to pull out of traffic from Tahoe City to Tahoma. Completion is expected in State Route 89 (Placer County) from Cherry Street to Oak Street: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control restrictions with up to 20 minute delays beginning at 6 a.m. Monday and continuing through 10 a.m. Friday. A contractor is scheduled to do utility work. (This schedule is subject to change) State Route 89 (Placer County) Work has begun on a $7.2 million project to do in-place recycling at various locations and placing overlay on Highway 89 from West River Street to Squaw Valley Road from edge of pavement to edge of pavement. Completion is expected late October State Route 89 (Placer County) Squaw Valley Road to West River Road: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control restrictions with up to 15 minute delays from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. (midnight Sunday) Sunday through Friday. A contractor is scheduled to do pavement work. SPECIAL EVENT State Route 28 (Placer County) on Highway 28 at Carnelian Bay Road in Carnelian Bay: Motorists can expect slow moving traffic from Thursday through Saturday, August The annual Lake Tahoe Concours d-elegance Wooden Boat Show event will be held. Please watch for pedestrians and bicyclist while sharing the road in the area. State Route 28 (Placer County) on Highway 28 at Grove Street in Tahoe City: Motorists can expect slow moving traffic on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Tahoe City

4 through August 23. The weekly Farmers Market will be held. Please watch for pedestrians and bicyclist while sharing the road in the area. Due to the Hot August Nights event in Reno, most traffic-interfering work on Interstate 80 will be limited from 12 noon on Thursday, August 9 through 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 12. SHORT-TERM PROJECTS State Route 28 (Placer County) from Lardin Way to Ridgewood Road: Motorists can expect intermittent east and westbound #1 lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Tuesday. A contractor is scheduled to do miscellaneous work. State Route 49 (El Dorado County) from South Street to Cannon: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls work from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do drainage work. State Route 49 (El Dorado and Placer Counties) from State Route 193 in Cool to the Bear River bridge at the Placer County line: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls in various locations from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do miscellaneous maintenance work. State Route 49 (Placer County) at the South Fork Dry Creek near Joeger Road to North Fork Dry Creek near Cramer Road: Motorists can expect intermittent north and southbound #1, #2 lane restrictions from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do a bridge work. U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from Carson Creek Bridge to Ray Lawyer overcrossing: Motorists can expect various east and westbound lane and ramp restrictions from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday through (Saturday 10 a.m.) Saturday. A contractor is scheduled to install k-rail, roadway excavation, grinding and paving work. U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) at the Shingle Springs undercrossing: Motorists can expect various east and westbound #1, #2 lane and ramp restrictions from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to bridge work. U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from the Greenstone Road undercrossing to El Dorado Road: Motorists can expect various east and westbound lane and ramp restrictions from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do bridge, grinding and paving work.

U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) at Sand Flat Campground: Motorists can expect east and westbound left and right shoulder work from 4 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do sign work. State Route 89 (Placer County) from Tallac Street to Elizabeth Drive: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control restrictions with up to 10 minute delays beginning from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. A Caltrans crew is scheduled to do tree work.

6 State Route 267 (Placer County) from Airport Road/Schaffer Mille to Martis Creek Wildlife Road: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls with up to 10 minute delays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday through Thursday. A contractor is scheduled to do roadway excavation and shoulder work. The Caltrans District Traffic Management Branch has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above. ## Lanes are numbered from the center divide (#1) to the shoulder (#2, 3, 4, etc.).
