I still have family here and would use bikeshare 2-4 times/week if it where available. 2 I have a bike, so bike myself. This would encourage others to use bike share. Palisades is so isolated, bike share would really help with connectivity. 11/10/2015 8:47 AM 11/9/2015 6:40 PM 3 and not just Palisades, but the village area as well as by Arizona Avenue and Sibley. 11/3/2015 4:05 PM 2 / 10

3 4 I do NOT want a capital bike share in the Palisades. 11/2/2015 8:54 PM 5 We live in a public transit 'desert'! We need Bikeshare now, until we can get a light rail or Metro line out this way. 10/29/2015 9:43 PM 6 I have a bike. We don't have as many millennial as other neighborhoods with Capital Bikeshare. We could use more bike lanes. How can we get bike lanes on MacArthur Boulevard, Reservoir Road, etc.? 10/29/2015 8:06 PM Q4 If a Capital Bikeshare station were located in the Palisades, how often would you use it? Such a station would turn non-parking zone streets into a parking lot for Virginia and Maryland commuters. This happens already by people bringing their own bikes by car but the number are tolerable. 11/10/2015 8:57 AM 5 station anywhere, please!!! 11/9/ :56 PM 6 where 11/9/ :19 PM 7 MacArthur and Q. 11/9/2015 9:42 PM 8 Fletcher's Boathouse or Safeway 11/9/2015 8:27 PM 9 nowhere 11/9/2015 7:09 PM 10 Need to have multiple locations. Definitely both of those mentioned. Also, lower Palisades, like near Jetties. 11/9/2015 6:40 PM 11 t near a hill that you have to go up to get somewhere, please! 11/5/2015 3:06 PM 12 If there's only one station in the Palisades, then people will only use it when they're taking trips to Georgetown or Tenleytown. But if there are three or four stations in the Palisades, people could take Bikeshare for shorter trips to Safeway, the farmers market, the post office etc. I think that Bikeshare would get far more use in the Palisades if there were multiple stations that enabled people to take shorter trips. That being said, my first choice is near Safeway. 11/5/2015 8:53 AM 13 Agree with person who said MacArthur and Arizona is a very dangerous spot. 11/4/2015 8:17 PM 14 I feel it's extremely important we think about the residents in the lower part of the palisades along MacArthur Blvd. Please don't forget about us! There are a lot of apartment buildings there that many residents would benefit from having a bikeshare. 2 possible locations are: One by the Hardy Rec center would be safe and ideal for students as well as Palisades residents. It would also be convenient for folks coming to Jetties and to the park. Another possible option would be on the corner of Elliott Place and MacArthur Blvd by the bus stop. There is plenty of space on that corner and I know would be extremely useful to many residents, including myself, at that location. 11/4/ :02 PM 15 both! 11/4/ :14 AM 16 Both of those and Sibley 11/3/2015 4:05 PM 8 / 10

9 17 By the crescent trail. 11/3/ :25 PM 18 There should be two stations at a minimum to make this practical. One at Safeway and one at Sibley Hospital (MacArthur and Loughboro). A third at Mac and AZ would make it even better, or possibly at the Rec Center. 11/3/ :18 AM 19 MacArthur Blvd and Q St NW 11/2/2015 9:22 PM 20 IF there were a bikeshare station it should be near ample parking... so the intersection of MacArthur and AZ would not be good. 11/2/2015 8:54 PM 21 Recreation Center on Q street 11/2/2015 8:46 AM 22 Where MacArthur meets Foxhall near Foundry Branch. 11/1/2015 6:40 PM 23 The rec center located on Q street is a great location, near a bus stop, too. 11/1/2015 4:37 PM 24 Hardy Park or MacArthur Safeway 10/31/ :32 PM 25 Foxhall Rd & Greenwich Parkway 10/30/2015 2:01 PM 26 I think a bike rack near Hardy Center and near Safeway would be ideal 10/30/2015 7:49 AM 27 NA 10/29/ :31 PM 28 Fletcher Cove 10/29/2015 9:43 PM 29 Near Jetty's 10/29/2015 8:15 PM 30 t in the Palisades please. 10/29/2015 8:06 PM 31 I do not support bikeshare, but both options above are terrible. They are the busiest areas w chronic problems if cars endangering pedestrians. Mac & Arizona is particularly bad. We call it the "intersection of death." 10/29/2015 6:23 PM Q9 What would be your purpose for choosing Bikeshare? To connect with Metrora % Commuting to school or work % Easier access to Georgetown % For quick errands (e.g % Recreation on the Capital % Other (please specify) 12.93% To connect with Metrorail as an alternative to M4 or D5/6 buses. Other (please specify) 48.98% % % 19 Total Respondents: 147 # Other (please specify) Date 1 I just support it, though cannot use it 11/10/2015 2:30 PM 2 Getting around town for activities. 11/10/2015 9:15 AM 3 NA 11/10/2015 8:57 AM 4 Would never use it 11/9/ :56 PM 5 I have my own bikes but would use bike share to go to locations in DC where I would not like to leave my own bike, even if locked. Like museums, stores, movies. Using bike share would be more efficient than using bus or metro. 11/9/ :53 PM 6 ne 11/9/ :19 PM 7 none 11/9/2015 7:09 PM 8 For guests and others 11/9/2015 6:51 PM 9 Visitors and friends 11/2/2015 9:42 PM 10 I do NOT want a capital bike share in the Palisades. 11/2/2015 8:54 PM 11 instead of using my own bike 11/2/2015 8:48 PM 12 Access to the neighborhood for friends who don't have cars. 10/31/2015 2:54 PM 13 commuting to yoga in dupont circle 10/30/2015 8:56 AM 14 I could see myself being downtown and wanting to take bikeshare back to the Palisades at the end of the day 10/30/2015 7:49 AM 15 So friends can get to me from metro 10/29/ :51 PM 16 NA 10/29/ :31 PM 17 fun outing on C&O Towpath 10/29/2015 9:43 PM 18 I would not choose Capital Bikeshare. 10/29/2015 8:06 PM 19 Never. 10/29/2015 6:23 PM 10 / 10
