2 Call for Evidence on their National Infrastructure Assessment (NIA) Seeking views on how they should: determine a vision of the UK up to 2050, identifying long-term infrastructure needs and highlighting priority areas for action develop a full set of recommendations by 2018 on how the identified infrastructure needs and priorities should be addressed Accepted recommendations will become government policy : Key road, rail, ports, airports and other transport arteries which support the movement of people and freight; the impact of future transport provision on the energy sector. : remit will not include housing supply directly, but will consider interactions between its recommendations and housing supply. Evidence base will include information about location of strategically important housing allocations such as new settlements and urban extensions Contribute to the RTPI response rtpi.org.uk/knowledge/consultations 2
