5 MUNICH-BOZEN-FERRARA BIKE TRANSFER The staff holds no responsibility for any damage to bikes. ROUTE The Randonnée leads mostly on cycle paths. It is recommended to all cyclists to be very careful, it is likely the presence of families and their children on their bikes. into the point of baggage claim. The organizer will give you a matrix to be kept until the withdrawal of the same baggage to the point of arrival. We will not take the responsibility of unchecked baggage or missing number. The organization will deliver plastic cables to tie the number clearly visible on the bicycle. At your arrival in Ferrara you can take a shower at 2kms from finish point, in piazzale dei Giochi, near Campo Scuola (ask our staff for indications). WEATHER In case of bad weather (rain or snow) the event will take place anyway. We recommend everyone to gear up properly. Follow the Road Book is recommended and not mandatory. The Road Book follows cycle paths or roads, avoiding traffic. Short sections are on gravel. We strongly recommend tires of 25 with a little grip. In Germany there are many paths that intersect. Please look carefully at the Road Book to avoid getting lost. Our RoadBook will climb the Fern Pass on gravel cycle path that presents technical steps up and down. This is to keep you away from the traffic of the driveway. But who would not feel safe on a gravel trails and dirt roads, is free to travel the driveway. On top of this will not be any control. BAGGAGE AND NUMBER The back pack will be brought at the finish line. Please apply to your back pack the special number that will be delivered in the Randonnée starting pack and corresponding to your bib number. The baggage must be handed over to the organizers ASSISTANCE There will not be a supporting van for emergencies. The staff, divided on two cars, we will be present at each Check Point / Refreshment and we will be ready to assist. Please take note of the various train stations along the way. In case of withdrawal please notify the organization by calling Simone at REFRESHMENTS For some refreshment will need a ticket to give to the host. The ticket will be in the race pack and please keep it safe. A few meters before reaching the refreshment you can stamp the yellow paper. We ask the cyclists to be patient and make the stamp before going to eat. SHOWERS Upon arrival in Bolzano there are no shower facilities. DOCUMENTS The route enters in Switzerland so it is recommended to all cyclists to carry the necessary documents for the purpose of border controls. ARROWS Along the way, especially at intersections of the cycle track, we attacked the adhesive arrows to road signs. It will be a little help for you to follow the track in case of doubts.
