To give a feedback to the financers on the improvements made To be able to optimise the action and to repeat it elsewhere To improve the action and to have a possibility to immediately correct in case it does not have the expected impacts To improve the national but also local road safety knowledge, as to say adapted to the local situation

The construction of a roundabout A priority policy A small roundabout To follow the effects of the construction from 6 months to 3 years The attentiveness of the police to produce truthful accidents reports, An instruction of local administration officers A communication campaign A bicycle promotion policy A safety promotion policy,

5 Evaluation of road safety improvements How? After having defined the objectives, one has to define the criteria and measurable indicators to qualify and quantify the results in relation to each objective Each objective should be accompanied by at least one indicator
