2 HAZARD CONTROL ASSESSMENT PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING TABLE IN RESPECT OF EACH HAZARD YOU HAVE IDENTIFIED: USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS WHERE REQUIRED HAZARD RISK IDENTIFIED WHO AFFECTED CURRENT HAZARD CONTROL FURTHER ACTION RESPONSIBILITY Club Cycle Rides Weather Cyclists Ride leaders check the weather before the ride and cancel if conditions deemed unsafe. Conditions are monitored during the rides and if they become unsafe, the ride is terminated and transport back to campus will be arranged. Members are reminded to come prepared for the weather conditions through dressing appropriately and bringing sufficient amounts of food and water for the ride. ensuring they are prepared for the conditions. Ride Leader responsible for reminding members to do so. Club Cycle Rides Group Cyclists Separate rides are organized to cater for the mix of abilities within the club. For those with less experience of riding in a group or around traffic, the club offers shorter rides at a slower pace to promote bike handling and skill development. Club Cycle Rides Equipment Cyclists For their safety, only members equipped with an approved cycling safety helmet of ANSI Z90.4, SNELL B90, EN 1078 or an equivalent national standard along with a fully functioning and serviced bike are permitted to attend the club rides. Members enter events at their own risk. Club Races Equipment Racers Members are responsible for ensuring they have correct working kit and equipment to race. Depending on the event entered, this equipment may be required to meet certain standards, such as those detailed in the British Cycling handbook or in the British Triathlon Federation handbook: uk/rules?c=en a2q5vhc Links to these handbooks to be added to the club website and promote awareness of the rules to members who are interested in racing. maintenance event. For safety and enjoyment, swimmers are assigned to lanes based on ability to ensure they complete sessions targeted at their level of expertise. Swimming Weather Swimmers When open water swimming, swimmers only enter the water when deemed safe to do so, seeking advice from lifeguards or facility staff where appropriate. If the conditions become unsafe, swimmers exit the water as quickly as is safely possible. Running Weather Runners Running Coordinator checks the weather before the run ensuring swimming competence before attending club sessions. Swimming Coaches or Swimming Coordinator responsible for vetting new swimmers to assess swimming ability. Swimmers Nancy Walker

Any faulty spin bikes are reported to Warwick Sport for Members Nancy Walker responsible for vetting members to assign training sessions of appropriate difficulty. Spin Instructor Spin Instructor to report faulty bikes to Warwick Sport for repair.
