2 Hello, We are! What is happening? GiG employees based in Malta are moving into two new office Beach (opening 25th September 2017) Sky, opening utumn Sky opens, we will continue to use GB Building and the Sliema office, which will have some small updates made to them to improve the interiors for the year we will still call them home. Who is moving where? GiG Central, GiG Gaming Cloud, and Betting Cloud will be moving Beach starting 25 September This will be done in a phased approach, and more on exactly who will move on which exact dates will be communicated soon. GiG Media will stay in the Sliema office for now. However, they will be located on the 4th and 5th floors, with the use of the 6th floor recreational space. They will move Sky in utumn GiG Gaming will move to GB Building in September 2017, and eventually move Sky in utumn Beach What general facilities does Beach have? pprox. 210 desks 1 1 bookable meeting rooms from 4 to 40 people S tate-of-the-art fiber optic networking infrastructure B reak out spaces and meeting areas T erraces with lounge areas with the amazing view of Saint George Bay G ym with showers / changing facilities with lockers L ibrary with business and tech books uditorium ccess to building using a fingerprint reader C offee and water stations L unch and Breakfast free for our employees. I ce cream bar C offee, juice and smoothies freely available for our employees.
3 What parking is available? When we first move Beach there will be over 150 parking spaces at the Pendergardens complex, available free of charge for employees. There will also be visitor parking and disabled parking available at Beach underground car park. There will also be plenty of motorcycle parking and bicycle racks available in Beach underground car park. When we Sky in utumn 2018, we will have another 100 car park spaces at Pendergardens for employees, giving us over 250 car parking spaces. Is this enough parking for everyone who drives to the office? Based on our current information, we believe this to be enough parking for everyone who drives. However we are working on ways to encourage alternative ways of commuting to work, such as cycling and carpooling. How can we help alleviate traffic and parking congestion in the area? We thought about concerns, and as well as the car parking spaces (over 150 from this September and another 100 from utumn 2018), we are investigating several ideas, including a carpooling scheme and a shuttle bus for employees. What about cycling? What facilities do you offer? Bicycle racks will be available in the underground carpark Beach for cyclists to use. Our employees do not have to worry about getting sweaty, there are currently showers in the gym changing area, as well as locker storage. What facilities are available in the gym? The gym will have basic cardio equipment such as running machines, bikes and rowing machines as well as weight lifting equipment. There is a terrace that can be used for stretching or yoga. There are also changing rooms (male & female) equipped with showers.
4 What catering will be on offer? Breakfast and lunch will be provided to employees on a daily basis Beach. Catering times and exact logistics are yet to be confirmed. Catering can also be booked on request for events, meetings or functions. Coffee stations/water are on each floor. What meeting facilities are available? There are 11 bookable meeting rooms. In addition, there is a 30-seat auditorium suitable for talks or screenings; a stand-up meeting space for larger gatherings and the cafeteria area, which can be booked for events for up to 40 people when not in use for breakfast or lunch. There are also many casual, non-bookable meeting spaces and break out areas for everyone to enjoy. Sky What Sky is the name of our campus in Pendergardens. The building is under construction and opening September More information about the Pendergardens complex is here How many desks are Sky? There will be approx. 330 desks Sky
