history In 2014, as a student at Peking University, ofo Cofounder and CEO Dai Wei noticed a problem. Although there were thousands of personal bikes parked around campus, he couldn t use any of them: his own bike had been stolen, for the fifth time. He looked at all the unused bikes and thought, what if I could access a bike any time, anywhere, worry-free? So Dai and his team convinced 2,000 students to add their bikes to a private registry for everyone to share. The idea was so popular that campuses all over China adopted the program. Months later, Dai and his partners switched to standardized bikes the first to be accessed via mobile app without docking stations. So ofo wasn t just about biking; its roots are in the act of sharing itself. Some 200 million users later, ofo has brought bike transit to over 250 cities all because a few students believed sharing might make things better. 3

The initiative provides funding to CLF s Global Scholarship Program, which helps thousands of girls attend secondary school in Malawi; it also donates bikes to those scholarship recipients to combat the regional transportation challenges contributing to Malawi s high drop-out rate. undp ofo has contributed $1.2M to The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), as part of a partnership to raise public awareness about climate change. The partnership, which provides financial support to innovative projects that address urban environmental challenges, will reach 100 million people with campaign messages about the adverse effects of climate change and ways to reduce CO 2 emissions. c40 cities C40 is a network of the world s megacities committed to addressing climate change. In C40 s Benefits of Climate Action Research Program, ofo will contribute in every way possible to research studies in mobility, especially walkability and bikability. studio roosegaarde ofo has entered into an exclusive partnership with the design innovators at Studio Roosegaarde to develop the first smog-free bicycle in China. Similar to Studio Roosegaarde s Smog Free Tower, the bicycles provide a healthy and energyfriendly solution to both traffic congestion and pollution issues in the city. 6

what users are saying The only reason I didn t have to drive everywhere during Southby was thanks to these bikes! It saved my wallet and my feet! Thanks ofo!!! So, I ve posted my rant prior on the influx of all these shared bike companies hitting Dallas, I m here to say I m endorsing one. Late to the game but maybe a reason why, meet ofo.so, I think these guys figured it out. Way better bike experience than Vbike, Lime Bike, Orange Dot. Adjustable seat height, comfortable frame, way better night LED lighting, 3 gears to choose and the breaks are solid good, and seat is comforting. As an avid urban mountain bike freak with a Trek Marlin 6, if I can t ride my own bike, I m now snagging an Ofo Bike. Nice app interface and the damn bike lock works when ride is complete and a follow up message of end of ride appears in the app. LimeBike, you all need to take a look. You were my preferred until now. There s a new sheriff in town! Me likey! In officially support. Regulators! Mount up! Got to be quick with the steel. Ofo.so yes! Good job and good luck here in Big D! 11
what cities are saying With one of our goals to improve multi-mobility transportation options in the City of Aurora, launching a bike-share program has been integral in this effort. Having the opportunity to work closely with ofo as one of the bike-share operators in the City of Aurora has been really beneficial for the success, management, and evaluation of the bike-share program to make modifications and improvements that will help provide residents of Aurora with an effective, reliable, and safe public transportation option. We are excited to see how the dockless bike-share industry continues to evolve as a component of the future wave of transportation. Brenden Paradies Planner for the City of Aurora The people of Worcester now have a new, affordable mobility option for moving around town. With a dockless bike-sharing program, more Worcester residents are able to take public transit now that first and last mile connections can be made on bright yellow ofo bicycles. Since September, ofo has integrated itself into our community. Its team worked with Worcester s City Government and Chamber of Commerce to promote city planning and enhance our business community, coordinated with Worcester Police Department to prevent vandalism, and worked closely with representatives from our many colleges and universities to provide services to students and faculty. Karen Pelletier Director of Higher Ed-Business Partnerships, Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce 12
social responsibility jj barea foundation In the wake of Hurricane Maria, ofo has partnered with the JJ Barea Foundation to bring bicycles to Puerto Rico, where infrastructure and public transit are still limited due to storm damage. ofo donated 600 bikes that are being distributed throughout the island. The Foundation, led by Dallas Mavericks player JJ Barea, offers economic assistance to nonprofit entities in Puerto Rico. Read more Puerto Rico is home. My family, friends and community are there, and they still need a lot of help to recover from such a devastating hurricane, which is why I m so thankful for this truly thoughtful donation from ofo and powerful partnership with my Foundation. Hurricane Maria destroyed many of our roads, people are without cars, and public transportation is limited, so getting around the island and having access to everyday necessities is still a big challenge. These 600 bikes will go a long way in assisting Puerto Rico s rehabilitation, and I appreciate ofo making that happen. JJ Barea moorland family ymca ofo donated 100 bikes to the Y-Achievers at the Moorland YMCA in Southern Dallas. The YMCA Y-Achievers after-school program equips middle school and high school teens with the skills they need to be leaders in the community. With their yellow ofo bikes, these teens will have newfound mobility options for getting to and from school and the YMCA, as well as a greater sense of independence. Read More 13
ofo began as a collective. Today, we carry on that spirit by viewing ourselves, first and foremost, as a community: we share not only bikes, but our passion for improving cities, protecting the environment, and empowering citizens with a new freedom of mobility. We re committed to working with local governments around the globe to build the best bikesharing platform possible, so that together we can advance our cities and serve our community. We are grateful to each and every user and partner who has helped build this amazing momentum for bikesharing and we re excited about the endless opportunities that lie ahead. Now, as we look forward, we maintain our core values of convenient, sustainable, affordable mobility to help create greener, healthier, happier cities in 2018 and beyond. 14
