6 FUNDING Planned Initial Effort: $1.05 M $500K from LTGO Bonds $200K from REET $350K from Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant Effort consisted of: Sharrows, bike boulevards, bike lanes, and signing Completed in 2012 along Park Avenue 13 MILES OF BIKEWAYS & PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS 11 FUNDING (CONT D) Phase 2 was to consist of bike lanes & curb ramps, and was ready to advertise when Federal Discretionary Grant - $1M Pierce County Regional Council - $500K (CMAQ) Phase 2 grew to include: ~ Ten blocks of roadway upgrades Grind & overlay Complete reconstruction (3 blocks - N 24 th Street) Intersection improvements at 12 locations 40+ additional curb ramp improvements (58 total) In-roadway bike counters 13 MILES OF BIKEWAYS & PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS 12
