Weather permitting; closures will be in effect on I-95 and in other areas throughout Palm Beach County for construction activities. I-95 Corridor Projects: Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA) Ramp Repairs Construction on this 5-mile project began Apr. 22, 2013, in the City of West Palm Beach. Work consists of replacing the expansion joints on the PBIA and Southern Boulevard entrance and exit ramps. The project costs an estimated $1.8 million. The work is being performed by Kiewit Infrastructure South, Co., and is expected to be completed late fall Restrictions: One lane of the Southern Boulevard to I-95 northbound entrance ramp is closed, around the clock, through late May One lane of the I-95 southbound exit ramp to Southern Boulevard is closed, around the clock, through late May Central Palm Beach County Projects: Atlantic Avenue (SR 806) from Kings Point to Via Flora Construction on this mile project began Monday, October 22, 2012, in the City of Delray Beach. Work consists of repaving the roadway, installation of new sidewalks and ramps to meet ADA standards, and signage and signalization upgrades. The project will cost an

2 estimated $1.2 million. The work is being performed by Weekley Asphalt Paving, Inc. and is expected to be completed late spring Restrictions: One lane may be closed in each direction, daily, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., with two lanes closed in each direction, nightly, 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., Sunday night through Friday. Okeechobee Boulevard (SR 704) from east of Military Trail to east of Red Trail Construction on this 1.9-mile project began Monday, February 25, 2013, in the City of West Palm Beach. Work consists of repaving the roadway, drainage improvements, installation of new sidewalks and ramps to meet ADA standards, minor landscaping, and signage and pedestrian signalization upgrades. The project costs an estimated $3.2 million. The work is being performed by Ranger Construction Industries, Inc. and is expected to be completed fall Restrictions: One lane may be closed in each direction, daily, 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., with two lanes closed, nightly, 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday night through Friday. In conjunction with this closure, starting Monday night, May 13, up to three lanes may be closed in each direction for paving operations, 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., through Friday morning. The eastbound outside lane of Okeechobee Blvd., from west of Military Trail to west of Indian Road, is closed, around the clock, through Friday, May 17. Beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, May 10, a second eastbound lane of Okeechobee Blvd., just west of Military Trail, will be closed until 4 p.m. daily, through Friday, May 17. Only two eastbound lanes will be open during this time in this section. This two lane full closure is to complete underground excavation work and repairs. Flagler Memorial Bridge Replacement Project This 0.66-mile Design/Build project includes replacing the existing bascule (draw) bridge with a new bascule bridge connecting the Town of Palm Beach and the City of West Palm Beach over the Lake Worth Lagoon and the Intracoastal Waterway. The Flagler Drive overpass will be replaced with an at-grade intersection. New lighting, pedestrian features, traffic signals, drainage, and landscaping are also included. The Design/Build team for this project is PCL Civil Constructers and Hardesty & Hanover. New Millennium Engineering, Inc. provides Construction Engineering and Inspection Services on behalf of FDOT. Active construction began on Sept. 10, 2012, and will cost an estimated $94.2 million. Restriction: The Flagler Memorial Bridge is open to limited vehicular traffic. One lane is open in each direction for passenger cars only; vehicles exceeding five tons (larger than an average pickup truck) are not allowed over the bridge. The bridge remains closed to pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Restriction: The ramp from northbound Flagler Drive to the eastbound Flagler Memorial Bridge is permanently closed. Drivers going north on Flagler Drive who want to go east over the bridge will go west on Banyan Boulevard to N. Dixie Highway, go north on N. Dixie Highway to N. Quadrille Boulevard, and go east on N. Quadrille Boulevard over the bridge. Restriction: The ramp from the westbound Flagler Memorial Bridge to northbound Flagler Drive is closed for roadwork. Drivers who want to go north on Flagler Drive will continue west

3 to N. Dixie Highway, go north on N. Dixie Highway to Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, and go east on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard to Flagler Drive. Restriction: One northbound or southbound travel lane on N. Flagler Drive will be closed as needed between 5 Street and 7 Street, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16. Workers will be restriping N. Flagler Drive in order to reopen the westbound ramp from the Flagler Memorial Bridge, Friday morning, May 17. At least one lane will remain open in each direction. Restriction: On Friday, May 17, the ramp from the westbound Flagler Memorial Bridge to N. Flagler Drive will reopen and a new temporary traffic signal will be placed into service where the ramp meets N. Flagler Drive, weather permitting. Once the ramp reopens, the following traffic pattern changes will be in effect: Westbound drivers who take the ramp to N. Flagler Drive will be required to stop on red at the signal at the base of the ramp Drivers going north on Flagler Drive, or coming from the ramp, will not be able to turn left onto 6 Street Drivers going north or south on Flagler Drive will be required to stop on red at the new signal to allow drivers coming off the ramp to go either north or south on Flagler Drive Drivers going east on 6 Street will not be able to go left on Flagler Drive; and drivers exiting the Bank of America drive-thru will not be able to go north on Flagler Drive Traffic will stay in this pattern for an extended period of time, until a new at-grade intersection at the replacement bridge and N. Quadrille Boulevard is opened to traffic. Drivers are asked to use caution through this area. Northern Palm Beach County Projects: Beeline Highway (SR 710) from West of Congress Avenue to West of Australian Avenue This 0.82-mile resurfacing project began Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, in the City of Riviera Beach. Work includes widening the existing roadway from two to four lanes, installation of bike lanes, curb and gutter, sidewalks, signalization, lighting, landscaping, signing and pavement markings, and resurfacing. The work is being performed by Ranger Construction Industries, Inc., and is expected to be completed spring The estimated construction cost is $12.2 million. Restrictions: Congress Avenue at State Road 710 may have single lane closures in each direction, daily, 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. State Road 710 at Congress Avenue may have intermittent single lane closures in each direction, daily, 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Avenue S, from State Road 710 to just south of W 9 Street, is closed, around the clock, through early fall Motorists may detour via W 9 Street and W 10 Street to Avenue U, then south to State Road 710. US 1 (SR 5) from South of 13 th Street to Silver Beach Road

4 This 1.4-mile resurfacing project began Monday, July 30, 2012, in the City of Riviera Beach. Work includes milling and resurfacing the existing roadway, drainage and water main installation throughout the project, curb and sidewalk replacement, upgrades to pedestrian and traffic signalization, signage upgrades, and sidewalk and driveway ramp installation to meet ADA standards. The work is being performed by Gibbs and Register, Inc., and is expected to be completed winter The estimated construction cost is $12.8 million. Restrictions: Traffic is shifted to one lane in each direction on US 1, from Blue Heron Boulevard to 13th Street, with northbound and southbound traffic maintained on the east side of US 1. In conjunction with this traffic shift, access to businesses on the west side of US 1 is provided via a business route detour utilizing Avenue C and Avenue E. Traffic is also shifted to one lane in each direction on US 1, from Silver Beach Road to Blue Heron Boulevard, with northbound and southbound traffic maintained on the east side of US 1. These traffic patterns are in place through early summer Eastbound Blue Heron Boulevard at US 1 is reduced to two lanes from four, with the two lanes shifted to the north side. The westbound Blue Heron Boulevard existing lanes are shifted to the north side, with a dual use right turn/through lane to the outside, and a dedicated left turn to the inside. This lane shift is required for drainage operations at the intersection of Blue Heron Boulevard and US 1. On Tuesday, May 14, the two travel lanes on eastbound Blue Heron Boulevard will be shifted to the south, with a dual use right turn and through lane on the outside and a dedicated left turn to the inside. Work includes repaving the roadway, minor widening from east of I-95 to Avenue S, drainage improvements, curb, gutter, and sidewalk installation, and signage and pavement marking upgrades. The project s cost an estimated $985,000. The work is being performed by Dickerson Florida, Inc. and is expected to be completed spring Restrictions: One lane of Blue Heron Boulevard may be closed, daily, from I-95 to Avenue S, and from Avenue H to US 1, westbound, 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., and eastbound, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Two lanes of Blue Heron Boulevard may be closed, nightly, from I-95 to Avenue S, and from Avenue H to US 1, 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., Sunday night through Friday morning. US 1 (SR 5) from north of Parker Bridge to just south of Indiantown Road

5 This 7-mile resurfacing project began Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, in the Village of North Palm Beach, the City of Palm Beach Gardens, unincorporated Palm Beach County, the Town of Juno Beach, and the Town of Jupiter. This project includes milling and resurfacing the roadway, sidewalk installation and ADA improvements, landscaping, irrigation, signalization, signage and pavement markings. Work is being performed by Community Asphalt Corporation, and will be completed late spring The estimated construction cost is $9.6 million. Restrictions: One lane may be closed in each direction, between Indiantown Road to south of PGA Boulevard, 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday. One lane may be closed in each direction from Donald Ross Road to PGA Boulevard, 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Friday night, May 10, and Monday night through Saturday morning, for paving operations. Indiantown Road (SR 706) from west of Alternate A1A (SR 811) to east of US 1 (SR 5) & US 1 (SR 5) from south of Ocean Boulevard to north of Beach Road Construction on these 0.8-mile (SR 706) & 0.6-mile (SR 5) projects began Monday, January 7, 2013 in the Town of Jupiter. Work on Indiantown Road includes milling and resurfacing the roadway, sidewalk and ADA ramp construction, and signing, pavement, and signalization upgrades at the Alternate A1A intersection. Work on US 1 includes milling and resurfacing the roadway, improvements to the existing pedestrian pathway, and guardrail and concrete traffic separator replacement. The combined cost for these projects is $1.9 million. The work is being performed by J.W. Cheatham, LLC, and expected to be completed in early summer Restrictions: One lane of Indiantown Road may be closed in each direction, from Alternate A1A to US 1, daily, 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., and nightly, with one lane closed at 7 p.m., and two lanes closed at 9:30 p.m., Sunday night through Friday. In conjunction with these lane closures, various turn lanes may be closed to complete sidewalk operations. One lane of US 1 may be closed in each direction, from just north of Indiantown Road to just south of Indiantown Road, nightly, 7 p.m. until 7 a.m., Sunday night through Friday. In conjunction with these lane closures, various turn lanes may be closed to complete sidewalk operations. Western Palm Beach County Projects: US 441 (SR 15) from 5 th Street to just south of Conners Highway Construction on this 3.9-mile project began Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in the City of Pahokee. Work includes milling and resurfacing the existing roadway, sidewalk and ADA ramp construction, signing and pavement marking upgrades, and signalization upgrades at Bacom Point Road (State Road 715). This project costs an estimated $2,788,888 and is expected to be completed in fall Work is being performed by Community Asphalt Corporation. Restrictions: State Road 15, between State Road 700 (Old Conners Highway) and State Market Road, will be reduced to one lane for both directions, 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, through fall Two-way traffic will be maintained via a flagging operation. SR 715 Sidewalk Improvements from Duncan Padgett Park to South of 14th Terrace Construction on this mile sidewalk project began Monday, April 15, 2013 in the City of Pahokee. Work includes adding a 6-foot wide sidewalk on the east side of State Road 715, from

6 Duncan Padgett Park to south of 14th Terrace. This project costs an estimated $357,528 and is expected to be completed by the end of summer Work is being performed by Lawrence- Lynch Corporation. Restrictions: Daily intermittent lane closures may occur for equipment staging. Maintenance, Utility and Permit Closures: Restrictions: The PGA Boulevard Bridge, over the Intracoastal Waterway in the City of Palm Beach Gardens, will have the eastbound inside lane closed, 9 a.m. until 12 p.m., with the westbound inside lane closed, 12 p.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday, May 11, for lock inspection. Restrictions: The PGA Boulevard Bridge, over the Intracoastal Waterway in the City of Palm Beach Gardens, will have the outside lane closed in each direction, 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday, May 13, & Tuesday, May 14, for bridge inspection. Restrictions: US 1, over the Hidden Valley Canal at the north city line in the City of Boca Raton, will have the northbound outside lane closed, 9 a.m. until 12 p.m., with the southbound outside lane closed, 12 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, for routine maintenance. Restrictions: The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from eastbound Indiantown Road, in the Town of Jupiter, will undergo a full closure, 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., Monday night, May 13, with back-up dates, Tuesday and Wednesday night, May 14 & 15, for maintenance work on the ramp. The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from westbound Indiantown Road will be open during this time. Restrictions: Advanced notice: The US 1 Jupiter Federal Bridge, over the Intracoastal Waterway in the Town of Jupiter, will undergo a full closure, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., Tuesday night, May 21, through Friday morning, May 24, for bridge inspection. Restrictions: Advanced notice: The Lake Worth Bridge, over the Intracoastal Waterway in the City of Lake Worth, will be closed, 6 a.m. until 9 a.m., Saturday, May 18, for the Lake Worth Women for Women 5k & 10k. The Southern Boulevard Bridge will remain open during this time. Restrictions: Eastbound State Road 710, from Florida s Turnpike overpass to the I-95 overpass, will have single intermittent lane closures, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, through June 2013, for FPL gas line work.
