An obligated project is one in which the federal government has made a commitment to pay the federal share of the project cost. KIPDA, cooperatively with the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and the Transit Authority of River City (TARC), has developed a list of projects that were obligated in fiscal year 2011 for the Louisville/ County, KY IN Metropolitan Planning Area. This list of obligated federally funded projects is included in the following tables and includes maintenance projects, roadway improvements, transit improvements, pedestrian walkways, and bicycle facilities. The Indiana projects were obligated in state fiscal year 2013, from July 1, 2012 through June 30, The Kentucky projects, as well as the TARC projects, were obligated in federal fiscal year 2013, from October 1, 2012 through September 30, The projects are shown by state and county, and listed alphabetically by Project Name. The transit projects follow the Indiana and Kentucky projects.
