1 Trip to Portugal and the race track at Portimao Fly ride option - April 16th 20th 2010 Tour option 9 nights, 7 in Portugal April 14 th 23rd Tour summary A high quality tour to Portugal where you will have the opportunity to be one of the very 1 st riders to experience the amazing new race circuit at Portimao 2 days tracks school run by current WSB riders, there is also a touring option for riders wishing to ride from the UK, do the track and then a tour of parts of Portugal before heading home The trip is open to solo riders and riders with pillions and to any customer of SBW, with a bike over 650CC. The circuit at Portimao is by far the best in Europe and is only 10 minutes from the ocean, so for none track people there is lots to do, or do nothing and just relax for 2 days by the ocean whilst the other half plays. The rod tour from the South will take you North through Alentejo and up towards the mountains in Mid Portugal. This is a great road ride and will show you some amazing roads, fine hotels and excellent food and wine. If you want to see some where new, experience the circuit or watch a friend on the circuit and do a tour with outstanding roads this is for you, a great ride with or without a pillion.

2 Weds 14 th Leave Plymouth 4.30PM Tour option - Full Itinerary Meet in Plymouth and then board the Brittany fery to Santander. Here you will meet other riders and have a tour briefing, followed by dinner which is not included. Thursday 15 th Arrive to Santander ride to Salamanca Salamanca for our overnight stop. Arrive to Santander by lunchtime, disembark and then we head down to the great city of Salamanca. Hotel has secure underground parking and is 2 minutes form the famous square and centre. Distance 225 miles Friday 16 th - Salamanca to Portimao A great ride down through Spain to the Portuguese coast and then along the Algarve to Portimao. Distance 435 miles Miguel Praia - current WSB rider category SSP class head instructor at Portimao Saturday 17 Track school at Portimao Sunday 18 Track school at Portimao 2 full days at the incredible new Portimao track this is already being ranked as one of the top 2 or 3 race tracks in the world and for sure the best in Europe well now you have 2 days to learn it with a professional in house track school. The track school is

3 owned and run by the owners of the circuit, the chief instructor is a current WSB rider, in SSP class Miguel Praia this is his home and he will along with his team be delighted in teaching you and improving your techniques on this amazing circuit. A Motocadia guide Marcos who will have ridden with you already is also n instructor at the circuit. This is a school so you have a chance to learn if you are a beginner or if you have track experience its chance to improve your skills whilst learning this difficult circuit. None track school people relax at the hotel, spend some time on the beech or just chill looking at the ocean whilst your partner is on the circuit. None track riders Take a ride along the Algarve to the most Westerly point at Sagres, Motocadia can give you some great ride outs from a few hours to all day your choice. The school operates - small groups 3 groups Beginner, intermediary, fast and then within each group they have 3 sub groups slow, intermediary, pro so you can get a pro beginner for instance, the instructors access your riding and place you where you should be comfortable. They also have a video session for each rider, with comments and advice on your riding played to you one to one with the instructor. Tyres are available on circuit and suspension advice as well as class room sessions to gain knowledge and to ask questions about your riding. At the end of the day they also offer a chance for a pillion to go round the circuit on the back of Miguel Praia bike this is not a common offering and gives them the chance to experience a circuit from the back visit Fly ride Track school - SBW will take your bike to Portimao for arrival on Friday PM April 16 th, you just need to fly in to Faro and be picked up and taken to the hotel. The arrangements for leaving your bike prior to it leaving the UK will be dealt with by SBW. You leave Faro on Tuesday April 20 th this gives you Monday to relax before going home.

4 Monday 19th Head North to Tomar We ride up through Alentejo to the historic town of Tomar. home of the knights Templars Distance 250 miles Tuesday 20th Tomar to the mountains Now we have a great twisty ride all the way to the edge of the Serra da Estrela national park this is what riding a bike is all about. Distance 170 miles this will take many hours Weds 21st Mountains Salamanca Another great twisty ride to the highest point in Portugal at 6600 feet, we then ride down off the mountain and head to Spain via another twisty ride. Arrive to Salamanca for late PM. Distance 220 miles Thursday 22nd Salamanca to Santnader Today we ride back to Santander skirting the Picos national park to arrive for our mid PM ferry crossing to the UK. Distance 226 miles Friday 23rd Arrive to the UK Portsmouth ofr 5PM.
