1 ESCAP revised road safety questionnaire template for data collection
2 UN General Assembly resolution 64/255 of 2 March 2010 Para 17: WHO and the UN regional commissions to coordinate regular monitoring, within the framework of the UNRSC, of global progress towards meeting the targets identified in the plan of action and to develop global status reports on road safety and other appropriate monitoring tools.

6 Revised Regional Indicators aligned with Global PoA Revised set of indicators: 36 indicators 24 common indicators with the Global Plan indicators (17 core and 4 optional) 12 indicators are of regional interests for example AH safety Require more frequent monitoring (serving our legislative meeting and reporting) ESCAP collects road safety data from member States approximately every two years (in conjunction with the Road Safety EGM) Information provided by member States based on country status reports
