(nearest postcode is YO25 3PE) LATE NOTICE: PLEASE BEWARE THAT ON THE AFTERNOON OF THE 9 TH JUNE THE VILLAGE HALL FLOOR IS SCHEDULED TO BE REMOVED AND THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS TO THE MAIN HALL. OTHER TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION WILL BE PROVIDED. 1

2 THE TOILETS AND SHOWERS ARE ACCESSIBLE THROUGH THE MAIN DOORS AT THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING. LIGHT REFRESHMENT WILL BE AVAILABLE. PARKING: THE VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK IS RESERVED FOR CTT OFFICIALS AND THEIR USE ONLY. ALL COMPETITORS PLEASE USE THE CAR PARK LOCATED IN THE FIELD OPPOSITE THE VILLAGE HALL. SITUATED OFF BURTON FLEMING ROAD A CAR PARK SIGN WILL BE POSITIONED WITH DIRECTIONS (BURTON FLEMING ROAD IS SUITABLE FOR WARMING UP). PLEASE DO NOT PARK NEAR THE START OR FINISH AREAS. PLEASE KEEP OFF THE VERGES OUTSIDE THE VILLAGE HALL AND ALONG THE ROAD NEAR THE HALL. PARK CONSIDERATELY; POOR PARKING MAY RESTRICT RIDERS AND PASSING TRAFFIC! RESTRICTIONS: The Yorkshire District CTT council forbids the use of turbos and rollers within 100 yards of households. No U turns in the start area. Do not pass the start timekeeper or warm up on the course after hrs SIGNING ON! It is necessary to sign on before the start. Numbers are only available after you sign on! Signing On is in the Car park area (weather permitting) otherwise the village hall. SAFETY: In the interest of your own safety, Cycling Time Trials and the event promoter strongly advise you to wear a HARD SHELL HELMET that meets an internationally accepted safety standard. Hard Shell helmets are compulsory for riders under 18 years of age. Cycling Time Trials recommends that a working rear light, either flashing or constant, is fitted to the machine in a position clearly visible to following road users, and is active whilst the machine is in use. BEWARE: THE VILLAGE HALL IS SITUATED ON THE COURSE. ROAD VEHICLE USERS PLEASE TAKE SPECIAL CARE WHEN TURNING IN AND OUT OF THE VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK ENTRANCE, AS RIDERS MAY BE APPROACHING AT SPEED. A DEDICATED PEDESTRIAN ROAD CROSSING POINT WILL BE ESTABLISHED ON THE DAY TO ALLOW SAFE ACCESS BETWEEN THE FIELD CAR PARK AND VILLAGE HALL AREA. 2

Proceed to Burton Fleming/Grindale/Rudston/Hunmanby cross-roads. Turn Left (90⁰ corner) proceed north towards Hunmanby, turn left at crossroads and proceed towards Wold Newton, turn left at T-junction (¾ miles) East of Wold Newton, proceed to Burton Fleming. Finish at 30mph sign on Wold Newton Road (West side of village) NOTE: Riders at start please keep off the road with your cycle whilst waiting to start. Wait until you are called to the start position. Remember other Riders may still be completing their ride and passing the start. Beware that there will be overlapping of riders during the event. Take Care when overtaking. The rider in front may not be expecting you! NO Vehicles to be parked in or near the start and finish areas except the timekeepers. To help Timekeepers and Recorders please Call out your number at the finish of each lap. Please be mindful, this is a technical circuit with varying road widths, mixed cambers, assorted gradients and some sharp corners. There will be marshals at various points around the circuit to help guide you. But, you are responsible for how you ride! 5

6 KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND HAVE A GOOD RIDE! ADDITIONAL USE OF THE FIELD: Should riders wish to bring a caravan or camping gear there is some provision available in the field that is being used as a car park on race day. However, if you are intending to stay before or after the event please let the organiser know beforehand, so that the field owner can be notified of numbers etc. SIGNING OUT!
