It is also possible that many of the suggested improvements recommended in the plan may not be constructed because of cost and right-of-way requirements. Probable bicycle improvements made by DuDOT may range from sidewalks to gravel paths with some meeting AASHTO recommended standards. DuDOT estimates that 50% of the proposed linkages may be added within the next 10 years and that the entire plan of linkages may not be feasible to implement in less than 20 years.
