3 CAMPAIGN Since 2015, Cycle Toronto and Metrolinx agreed to create a school campaign called Bike to School Week CultureLink, the Cycle Toronto partner leading the Bike to School Project and other education programs, was brought in to coordinate Stakeholders from the Metrolinx Active and Sustainable School Travel Regional Hub contributed to planning and led local implementation. 7 INTEGRATING BIKE CAMPAIGNS City of Toronto connected Bike to School Week with Bike to Work Day. Specifically targeting teachers at schools to try biking to work. They, along with Cycle Toronto, created customized posters and a Pledge Form. Highlights from 2017 include: 6.6% of teachers at participating schools biked during the project Compared to adult mode share of 1.7%* Note: from TTS Toronto 2006 data 108 out of 177 schools said they would promote to teachers/staff 171 bike trips were made from 45 reporting schools 26 out of 45 reporting schools said more staff biked than usual and are likely to bike in the future Pledge Form Poster During Bike Month, I pledge to...
