27 Better streets wanted in Marquette Marquette City Commission mulls new policy Complete Streets training offered MARQUETTE - A Complete Streets training will be offered from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in the Citizens' Forum Room at Lakeview Arena in Marquette. Front Street Marquette, MI We,, endorse the Iron Ore Heritage name of entity Recreation Authority (IOHRA) and their request for a.2 mill increase on property tax ($.20 per $1000 of taxable value) for six years on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the Cities of Ishpeming, Negaunee and Marquette and the Townships of Tilden, Negaunee, Marquette and Chocolay to construct, manage, and maintain the 48-mile, multi-use, year round, interpretive Iron Ore Heritage Trail. We understand that the IOHRA has secured over $1 million in grants thus far and have put local people to work building and signing a permanent trail system.
