2 The International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (IFBB) and Portuguese Federation (PFBB) welcome all the IFBB-affiliated National Federations of the World to the international competition: IFBB Diamond Cup, Espinho Portugal, from Friday 08th to Sunday 11th of June, In this 2nd edition, to support the great amateur competition of the IFBB Diamond Cup Series, we will have our sport fair: EXPO FITNESS and the first ELITE PRO championships to be held in Portugal: IFBB ELITE PRO PORTUGAL.

3 For the second time, Espinho will host this event, welcoming IFBB National Federations from all over the world. Espinho is a modern city, a high-level tourist resort that welcomes thousands of national and foreign visitors throughout the year. This city has one of the best climates in Europe (low thermal amplitude: 23ºC in summer) and is located just a few km from Sá Carneiro Airport in Oporto, thanks to easy road and rail routes.

4 In very back times, a small boat that sailed along the coast was caught in bad sea and shipwrecked. Two men, Spanish from Galiza, survived the tragedy, says the legend that thanks to a promise made to Nossa Senhora to build a Chapel in Her honor if She enabled them to be saved. When they felt a firm ground beneath their feet, the two mens - Eugénio and Márcio Esteves, stopped their attention on the wooden plank they had been saved in: one said that it was made of nut-brown, but the other guaranteed: "No! És Piño!" (No! It s pine!) And from here there will be the name of Espinho. Just 30 minutes by car from the Airport of Sá Carneiro, Porto; Espinho have the service assured by car or train. Train travel of approximately 15 minutes; Car transport of PFBB (EUR 10 per person).

5 The Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport also called Aeroporto do Porto is located in the Greater Porto. It was inaugurated in 1945, on December 3, as Pedras Rubras Airport and, in 1990, it went to Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, honoring the Prime Minister Francisco Sá Carneiro. 9 The place of the competition, once again, will be the Nave Polivalente, located at: Place de Sales - Silvalde , Espinho, Portugal. The 2018 Expo Fitness is a Fitness Fair and will take place on 09th and 10th of June. There will be various activities, from Bodybuilding, Strongman, Strongwomen, Powerlifing and Jiu-Jitsu. In the immensity of space, you can find brands and national and international supplementation stores, such as Biotech USA; Fit foods to not give up on the diet; and comfortable sports clothes and for all seasons of the year. When you need a break, rest on one of the benches of our interior garden - Central Park, before moving on to the next activity. The entry price will be EUR 6. 11 The IFBB Diamond Cup, Espinho, Portugal, is open to National Federations from all over the World that are affiliated with the IFBB. Online Pre-Registration is done by the National Federations through the Final Entry Forms available on the IFBB website. Final Entry Forms must be sent to: Organizing Committee office at: or IFBB Head Office at: IFBB Technical Committe at: The deadline to apply is May 28th, Please be aware that it is FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND OBLIGATION OF THE NATIONAL FEDERATION to verify if each one of the athletes to be registered on this international event are NOT suspended or fulfilling any period of ineligibility due to Anti-Doping Rule Violation or any disciplinary case at national or international level. It is also the FULL OBLIGATION AND RESPONSIBILITY of a National Federation to MONITOR ALL THE ATHLETES affiliated to this National Federation who are actually fulfilling a period of ineligibility due to Anto-Doping Rule Violation or any Disciplinary case, to make sure these athletes WILL NOT REGISTER/COMPETE/OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY CAPACITY in any event either at National or international level, Official or Invitational.

12 Registration will be conducted at the Nave Polivalente: Lugar de Sales-Silvalde, Espinho, Portugal; on Friday, June 8th, 2018, from 10:00 to 18:00 ( All athletes will have to produce their Passports & IFBB International Cards at the registration. Any athlete who has not yet purchased or renewed his/her IFBB International Card will have to buy one at registration. IFBB Cards are EUR 30 and are mandatory. Each athlete will have to pay a registration fee of EUR 200. The second category is EUR 50.!!! THE REGISTRATION SHOULD BE PAID BEFOREHAND ONLINE!!! The deadline date to do the online payment is May 28 th, 2018 (Monday). On May 28 th, at 24:00 hrs (midnight- Western European Summer Time, UTC +1) the online payment system will be switched off. Please add your name during online payment and bring a copy of your payment confirmation to the registration. If paying at the Registration on June 08 th, 2018, an extra fee of EUR 50 per participant will be charged.

Overall in each discipline will have a trophy. Top 5 athletes in Men s & Women senior categories will be awarded points to the 2018 IFBB World Ranking according to the World Ranking Rules. Top 3 Overall winners in Men s Physique, Classic Bodybuilding and Bodybuilding as well as Bodyfitness, Bikini Fitness and Wellness Fitness will be awarded with the IFBB Elite Pro Cards (after application through their National Federations). The Overall winner in Women s Physique will be awarded with the IFBB Elite Pro Card (after application through their National Federations).

16 Any image / video capturing on backstage or in changing areas is prohibited except with the permission of the IFBB. For accreditations, contact the PFBB by info.ifbbportugal@gmail.com. The music used in the individual routines can only be on CD. Each athlete must identify their CD with their readable name. CDs are delivered at the registration. IMPORTANT: The use of profane, vulgar & offensive language is strictly prohibited in the posing music. The IFBB has banned all tans that can be wiped off. An official will check the tan of all athletes backstage and if the tan comes off by simply wiping, the athlete will be told to remove the tan before going on stage. There will be an IFBB partner at weigh-in, offering tanning servicies. Regarding Make-up/Hair, the PFBB partner will be on weigh-in, offering their servicies. Green cards are used to access backstage. They also give access to Expo Fitness. The value is EUR 30 per person and will be on sale at the weigh-in and registration of athletes. Team managers and judges are due to attend a meeting on Friday, June 8th, at 19:00. All judges and delegates are required to attend the meeting.

17 To be taken into consideration during selection of judges panels at the competition, IFBB International Judges must be included in the Final Entry Forms sent by National Federations, according to the IFBB Rules. A valid passport is required to enter Portugal (Schengen Zone). Citizens of 55 countries don t need a visa coming for a short period (up to 90 days). Detailed information at: contact the Portuguese Embassy in your country to determine if you need a visa!!! It is the National Federations responsibility to obtain an entry visa for the country organizing the championship. All National Federations could ask for an Invitation letter either to the Championship Organizer or IFBB. The invitation letter does not mean you are granted your visa. IFBB and Championship organizer are not responsible of attendants visas. To receive invitation letter, the applicant should forward the following information to the IFBB or Championship organizer: A copy of passport; Where the attendant will have his or her accommodation. If the visa is not granted, the Cancellation Policies for the championship will still apply. An athlete, who requested and received an invitation from the IFBB Head Office or the Organizing Committee of an IFBB sanctioned event for visa purposes and used this visa to unlawful stay in the host country or any other country, will be subjected to the disciplinary proceedings and measures.
