1 Introducing DVD #18. This DVD is filmed as a class so you can feel the energy of the blocks, see examples of how to use Singlets to transition between Blocks, as well as get ideas on how to cue and motivate your class! Be sure to add the warm-up, floorwork and cooldown to your classes as they have been excluded here. Each Quarterly Choreography DVD will include entirely new, never seen before Blocks: 2 Boxing Blocks 2 Pilates Blocks 2 Dance Blocks When you receive your DVD you have 2 options: OPTION #!: Watch it, learn it and teach it just as demonstrated on the DVD!! Don t forget to add the warm-up, floorwork and cooldown as they have been excluded on the DVD. OPTION #2: Use your PILOXING Choreography DVDs to add the new choreography Blocks (from the DVD) to your Block Library (provided in the manual and below) then, using your PILOXING Choreography Template (provided in the manual and below) plug in Blocks (new or old) and Singlets to create your own unique class. As a PIA member, every three months you will receive a new PILOXING CLASS to keep your classes fun and funky. Also included will be the Block Breakdown, which lists each new move within a Block, the recommended Tempo of that move and the recommended amount of repetitions you should do it. Remember that you can always slow down a move to break it down for your students and teach form. You cannot speed up moves faster then the recommend Tempo. Also, the repetitions recommended should be used as a starting point. NOTE: You may increase/decrease the # of repetitions of each move compared to what is shown on the DVD in order to: play to the music ; or allow time for breaking down moves; or to increase or decrease the intensity. On average each move is performed FOUR to EIGHT 8-counts of music. We no longer are providing you with the specific repetitions in the notes. As you know, PILOXING is not a Song-Based Program in which there is specific choreography for specific songs. Use the music to inspire, motivate and pump you and your students up, while you follow the choreography template provided in the manual (also included below). 1

6 PILOXING CHOREOGRAPHY TEMPLATE PILOXING is a 60-minute class and must include: 4 Boxing Blocks, 4 Pilates Blocks, 3 Dance Blocks using an interval format in the order shown on the PILOXING Choreography Template. Warm up, Floorwork Butt, Floorwork Abs and Cool down must also be included in each class. You can remove the Floorwork section to make a 45 minute class. Signature Blocks: 4 Specific Blocks (2 Boxing and 2 Pilates) are required to be included in every PILOXING class in the order shown on the PILOXING Choreography Template. Singlets: A Singlet is a single move repeated over and over. Singlet moves are used between Blocks as needed to either: [1] increase recovery time between more intense blocks, [2] re-focus mental and physical energy, [3] give you, the instructor, thinking time before the next Block.
