2 OFFICIAL INVITATION The Russian Universal Karate Kempo Federation (UKADO) in partnership with The International Kempo Federation (KEMPO/KENPO) has the great honour to organize THE 8 th I.K.F. WORLD KEMPO/KENPO CHAMPIONSHIPS 2011 ( Traditional Kempo and Fighting Kempo divisions ) on between May.2011 By this occasion we officially invite your National Kempo/Kenpo Team in order to represent your country in this great event. In the following pages, you will have all the main information s about the event. 3 SCHEDULE ( We advice you to make all the necessary arrangements in order to arrive in Sankt-Petersburg / RUSSIA in the right time for the official registration. Arriving on 21.may.2011 will be the best decision. ) 21 and 22 May 2011 * arriving and accomodating the national Ukado & Kempo/Kenpo teams. 22.May.2011 * 2 pm - 8 pm / Official Registration of Competitors (Official checking of competitors names/age category/weight category, official checking of the competing diagrams for Traditional and Fighting Kempo divisions, paying competition fees, paying accommodation and food packs, paying annual fees to IKF ). Note 1 : The team leaders or their delegates will stay together with their competitors during the official registration. All team leaders will come with the stamp and copies from the ID or similar of their national kempo/kenpo organization. Also for the efficiency each team will come with a list with all their team members, numbers of rooms requested( the price of the room include breakfast and dinner ), numbers of competitors for the competition fees. Note 2: The Weight check-in will be made in pants and not in underwear for keeping the decency of the event. Each competitor must present an identification document and a medical document for proving he is in good medical conditions for competing. 23 May 2011 * 10 am - 12 pm / Traditional Kempo Referee Course ministered by Mr. Codi Duyster, the IKF Traditional Kempo Chairman of Referees. All national team coaches and captains of teams must attend this referee course. * 2 pm 4 pm / Fighting Kempo & Ukado Referee Course ministered by Mr. Razvan Vovcenco, the IKF Fighting Kempo Chairman of Referees. All national team coaches and captain of teams must attend this referee course. Note 1: In order to act as an referee in the IKF competitions your candidate must be licensed and authorized by the IKF Chairmen of Referees ( Mr. Duyster for Traditional Kempo and Mr. Razvan Vovcenco for Fighting Kempo ) after attending and passing the exam of the referees course. Note 2: Each country must bring inside of the WKC-2011 at least 2 referees. A country who will not bring inside at least 2 authorized referees who will work properly will have no right to contest in any way the referees/judges decisions during the tournament. * 5 pm 8 pm / IKF Congress. Meeting with all team leaders or their delegates. Just 2 team leaders/country will be allowed to this meeting. Everybody can speak but just one vote/country(full-right member) will count. There will be not allowed questions or answers for persons who don t speak English if they will not have their own translater. Agenda : 1. Introduction of IKF new-coming members. 2. Introduction of the special guests. 3. Proposals for improving IKF activity. 4. The international calendar for 2012.

4 5. Last informations to all leaders about how it will go everything during the WKC 2011 ( equipment, diagrams, decency... ). Note : In order to be very efficient in this meeting please make your homework s and let us know very fast about your proposals, ideas...) 5 * Mix-Kempo / UKADO ( ukado gloves, stand-up full-contact fighting and ground-fighting with chokes,arm and legbars, also punches to the body and to the head ) * Submission Kempo (groundfighting without strikes). Note : 1. In Juniors competition just 1 (one) competitor/country or 1 team/country will be allowed to compete in a division. The organizing country will have the right to register 2 competitors or 2 teams in a division. Traditional Kempo will be organized just for years old, Seniors and Masters. 2. In Seniors and Masters divisions just 2 competitors or 2 teams/country will be allowed to compete in a division. 3. One competitor can be registered just in maximum of 3 fighting divisions. 4. A competitor must not have less than 5 kg than the top limit of category where he will compete (ex: to compete in -75 kg category, sportive must not have less than 70 kg or more than 75 kg). How to register a competitor in Fighting Divisions In the WKC 2011 one competitor can be registered just in 3 Fighting Divisions. There will be organized just these weight categories/division : SEMI-KEMPO / KNOCKDOWN / GRAPPLING 1. JUNIORS ( years old ) MEN : weight categories : -50 /-60 /-70 / +70 Kg WOMEN : weight categories : -40 /-50 /-60 kg 2. JUNIORS ( years old ) MEN : weight categories : -60 /-70 / -80 / +80 Kg WOMEN : weight categories : -40 /-50 /-60 kg 3. SENIORS ( + 18 years old) MEN : Weight categories : -60 / -70 / -80 / -90 / +90 Kg WOMEN : Weight categories : -50 Kg / - 60 Kg / +60 Kg 4. MASTERS ( + 37 years old). MEN : Weight categories : -72,5 / -82,5 / -92,5 / +92,5 Kg WOMEN : Weight categories : - 67,5 Kg FULL-KEMPO / KEMPO K1 / MIX-KEMPO UKADO 1. 6 EQUIPMENT - WHITE PANTS, BLACK JACKET (GI), RED BELT Just when on the blue corner the competitors will wear blue belts. During the whole WKC-2011 (opening ceremony, staying and waiting their turn, competing...) all the competitors must wear WHITE PANTS, BLACK GI JACKET, RED BELT. On the Gi jacket and/or on the pants can be putted the patch of the national organization, the patch of the IKF and/or stripes with the flag colours. Note : Despite our friendships, NOBODY will be letted to compete in the WKC 2011 without having this official equipment. PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT - Boxing gloves 8 oz, Red/Blue - MMA Gloves Red/Blue ( for Knockdown Kempo ) - Headgear Red/Blue, without mask preferable TopTen model (mandatory in Semi- Kempo, Kempo K1, Knockdown, Full-Kempo, Mix-Kempo Ukado) - Shinguards (mandatory in Semi-Kempo, Kempo K1, Knockdown, Full-Kempo/ Ukado) - Mouthguard (mandatory in Semi-Kempo, Kempo K1, Knockdown, Full-Kempo / Ukado) - Groin protection (mandatory for male in Semi-Kempo, Kempo K1, Knockdown, Full- Kempo/Ukado) - Chest protection (mandatory for female in Semi-Kempo, Kempo K1, Knockdown, Full- Kempo / Ukado) COMPETITION FEE Registration Fee: 50 Euro/competitor, for the whole championship (all divisions). ACCOMODATION, FOOD and PAYMENTS METHODS Each country from the continents of Australia/South-America/Asia who will register at least 3 competitors in the tournament will have one room free of charge. Each country from the continents of Europe/North-America who will register at least 5 competitors in the tournament will have one room free of charge. All foreign teams will be hosted in Hotel RUSSIA. No teams will be allowed in other hotels.

8 IKF Conditions of Participation In order to have an official relation with IKF and to participate officially in the WKC 2011, you must respect the following steps : 1. Your National Representative or you (if there is no IKF representatives), must fill and send the Membership Application On-Line from : 2. Your National Representative or you (if there is no IKF representatives), must sent in scanned copy by ( amattokai@yahoo.com and kempoikf@yahoo.com ) and also in original (notarized) by mail to the IKF headquarter ( 237 ter, avenue Sainte Marguerite Nice, France ) the following documents : - your federation/organization/association statue/constitution in which you must have included KEMPO or KENPO or COMBAT SPORTS in the objects of activity. -passport or ID copy of the President and Secretary General of your organization. -ID/Certificate/Recomadation Letter or similar of your organization from your Sport Authorities, National Olympic Committees, or similar entities. -any other documents, coming from your national laws, you consider necessary to prove the legality of your organization. 3.
