2 Welcome of the President of Canoe Federation of Slovenia C anoe Federation of Slovenia is pleased to invite you to take part at the 2013 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup, which will be held on the river Sava, Ljubljana, Slovenia, from August 16th to 18th, The venue of the Event, popular named Tacen is located in the picturesque environment by the Sava River, lying at the foothills of the Šmarna Gora Mountain and Grmada peak. Tacen has also had an important role in the Slovene kayaking history, which began 80 years ago with the establishment of the first kayaking club in Ljubljana Kajak kanu klub Ljubljana. We are very excited to host this event. We have accomplished high level of experience in organizing top kayak and canoe slalom events in previous years when we hosted several World Cup races, European and World Championships. Canoe Federation of Slovenia and the Organizing Committee SLOKA 2013 is delighted to welcome all National Teams to the competition and we hope that 2013 ICF CANOE SLALOM WORLD CUP held on the slalom course in Ljubljana will see excellent competition and memorable sporting moments for your team. 4 ENTRIES Numerical entries deadline: 23rd June 2013 Nominal entries deadline: 1st August 2013 On-line Entry Forms Numerical entries should be sent by fax to Canoe federation of Slovenia, fax. No: or by e mail to kajak.zveza@siol.net. Nominal Entries will be enabled only via ISIS on-line system available at ACCREDITATION All national canoeing bodies are requested to register at where the on-line accreditations are available. If you have any questions or problems concerning accreditations, please, do not hesitate to contact us. PARTICIPATION FEE The Participation fee will be charged per each athlete and team officials for the Access Period, The amount of participation fee is 15 per day for the Access Period what means 105 in total. The participation fee will include the following services: Athlete s Village, Official video service, Boat storage, Security, Internet Access, Access pass and parking, Information regarding accommodation, Free training period, First aid, Flat-water Training, Water safety, Invitation letter for VISA applications, Medical care COMPETITION Competition Rules 2013 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup will be run in accordance to the ICF Slalom Racing Competition Rules. Athlete s Village Near the competition area will be athlete s village with big tent for the athletes. Teams will have place for relaxation with tables and chairs. Toilets will be available near the big tent. Internet Access High Speed Wireless internet access will be available at the venue the competition area, all office spaces including ICF offices, Jury, Accreditation office and Media Centre. Access pass and parking Free access pass and car parking near the athlete s village will be guaranteed for up to four accredited vehicle. Official video service During the competition days technical video signal will be provided. More technical details regarding technical video signal will be available at Boat storage Boat storage racks will be placed at athlete s village. First aid A small tent with first aid will be located in finish area. The NF will advise participants that emergency medical services will cover only emergency cases and that all participants are responsible to arrange at their cost, their own medical insurance policy. Water safety Rescuing in competition area during the competition days will be organized. Medical Insurance Organizing Committee kindly asks all participants of 2013 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup Race to ensure medical insurance policy in their countries. All costs above the regular first aid, ambulance and physiotheraupeutic services are to be covered by this medical insurance policy. Organizing Committee will not cover any expenses in connection with hospital or dental treatment. Doping control Doping control will be performed in accordance to the ICF Anti-doping requirements and WADA standards.

Teams which would need assistance with transportation from airport to the venue and vice versa can gain necessary information from the organizer. Transport provided by the organizer will be extra charged.
