1 15th EDBF EUROPEAN CLUB CREW CHAMPIONSHIPS 2013 Hamburg, Germany 23, 24 and 25 August 2013 INFORMATION BULLETIN No. 3 This buetin contains additiona detais on the 15 th EDBF ECCC Hamburg, Germany, incuding updates to Crew Leaders meetings, Counci and EDBF AGA meeting detais, parking information and ceebration party detais. The organizing committee of the 15 th European Cub Crew Championships 2013 wecomes you. Current entries show more than 1300 participants from 37 cubs, representing 10 countries and the numbers are ikey to rise as not a individua participants have been entered into the registration database. If your cub hasn t yet entered padder information in the database, pease do so quicky as the database wi cose on 12 August! LOCATION: Hamburg-Aermöhe Water Sports Center, Hamburg, Germany. Hamburg is the second argest city in Germany. It can be reached by car, train or pane. The main station is ocated centray to the east of the inner city and the Hamburg airport is about 8 km from the city center. There is a direct S-Bahn connection between the airport and the main station. Further information: REGATTA COURSE: The regatta course, the Hamburg-Aermöhe Water Sports Center is about 20 minutes by car from the city center. The Regatta Course and technica faciities wi be to EDBF standards for European Championships. The number of anes wi be six for 200 and 500 m, with a width of 13.5 m. There wi be photo finish equipment. Address: Landeseistungszentrum Kanu und Rudern Aermöher Deich 36 D Hamburg GERMANY COMPETITION FORMAT: The ECCC wi be conducted under the IDBF Competition Reguations and IDBF Rues of Racing by appointed IDBF Internationa Race Officias and DDV Nationa Officias, under the direction of an EDBF appointed Chief Officia and with a jury nominated by the EDBF Executive Committee ( BOATS AND EQUIPMENT: 13 identica brand new IDBF standard boats and 13 sma boats from the manufacturer CHAMPION (same as the IDBF Word Nations Championships recenty

2 hed in Szeged) wi be provided by the Championship organizers. Competing crews are expected to bring their own paddes that conform to the IDBF Padde Specification 202a. CLASSES AND DISTANCES: At 7 th of August entries are registered with the numbers for the foowing Racing Casses. Entries and changes wi be possibe ti the 12 th of August. 3 Sma Boat racing wi be hed for casses with at east 4 entries (for fu-meda eigibiity). The Sma Boat Championships are primariy for new and deveoping EDBF Member Countries normay the EDBF Basic and Associate Members - but any EDBF Member who is unabe to fied Standard Boats in the 18-23s and Senior C Competition Casses may enter these specific Sma Boat competitions. A Cub can enter the Standard or Sma Boat Races or both in a Racing Casses but for a Cub to enter both a Standard and Sma Boat Crew in the same Divisiona Racing Cass the padders in the Sma Boat Crew must be different padders from those used in the Standard Boat crew incuding reserves. Additionay, if a cub enters the 2,000m races in a Standard Boat it cannot enter the Sma Boat 200m and 500m races in the same racing cass. Exception for Mixed Crews: A Cub may enter an Open Standard Boat Crew and a Women s Sma Boat Crew in any Racing Cass (or vice versa) when there are ess than 18 padders in either crew. Then using the same Sma Boat padders a Cub can aso race a Standard Boat Mixed Crew but not a Sma Boat Mixed Crew. In any event, doube rostering of padders between Divisions is discouraged. Hems and Drummers may be used across the Divisions (subject to the rues for Junior and Seniors) but in the case of back to back races the race officias wi NOT deay races to accommodate the transfer of Hems or Drummers. ADMINISTRATION FEE: There is an administration fee which wi not exceed 55 Euro per person (incudes EDBF registration fee of 10 Euro and 45 Euro regatta fee) for everyone traveing with the team, incuding competitors, coaches, managers, supporters, Congress

5 deegates and any others that may trave with the team 1. The admin fee wi entite everyone to receive an ID badge. The Administration Fee must be paid with named entries which are due on the deadine stated above. The EDBF Registration Fee has to be transferred directy to the EDBF account. CELEBRATION PARTY: The ceebration party wi be hed on Sunday evening at the Regatta course. Cost: Barbeque for EUR per person (incudes mea, one drink (beer or others) and music entertainment). Entry to the Party for EUR per person. Pease book over ACCOMODATION: A Hotes are booked. Now we woud offer paces at the Camping cose to the regatta course. Pease contact our Org. 6 TRANSPORTATION: A bus shutte service for traveing from the airport to the hote, between the hote and the racing course, between the hote and the opening ceremony/cosing ceremony can be booked.
