5 14. Bib Distribution A. Canoe Slalom Events CSL Competition bibs will be available from the race office between 11:00 to 14:00 on Thursday 21 June. A bib deposit of 100 euro per nation is required on collection of the bibs. CSL Competition bibs must be returned to the race office following the competition for the return of the deposit. The bibs are allocated in the following way: K1M blue / red C1W blue / dark blue K1W yellow / red C2Mx blue / dark blue C1M Yellow / blue B. Extreme Canoe Slalom Events For CSLX time trials bibs will be available at the race office between 11:00 to 14:00 on Thursday. For CSLX final phases bibs will be distributed in the start area on the left bank just before the start. 15. Start and Finish location and procedures A. Pre start procedure There will be no pre-starter. Athletes will be responsible for getting themselves to the Start position on time. There will be a clock facing upstream into the warm-up area showing the race time and the next athletes to start. LIPTOVSKY MIKULAS 2018 TEAM LEADERS MEETING 5 on 10

6 B. Start Athletes may move to the start position once the previous Athlete has broken the beam but must be at the start position 15 seconds before their start. The start is located on the river left below the hut. Athletes must start facing downstream in front of the pontoon The beam line is located 3 meters from pontoon. At the start, there will be a countdown clock showing the time to start. There will be an acoustic signal (10 seconds before start - 4 shorts, 1 long - start). Athletes must start within 3 seconds of their start time. At all times, the athletes must follow the Starter s instruction, or they may be disqualified for the run. C. Finish The finish beam is located at the end of the course. The beam line will be appropriately indicated. Athletes must exit via the ramp at Equipment Control to pass through equipment control, kiss and cry and the mixed zone. Athletes must not leave the finish zone until dismissed by the Equipment Control Judge once they are no longer needed for the ceremonies, anti-doping or equipment control. During the finals, the leading athletes must proceed to the Kiss and Cry area located after equipment control where TV will interview them. There will be access to the broadcast feed in this area. If they drop out of the lead the new leaders will replace them. They then proceed via the mixed zone back to the Athlete area. 16. 7 17. Technical Video Service set up schedule The Technical Video Service will be available at the TVS room located in front of the main building. Please ensure your team comes between 14:00 till 18:00 on Thursday 21 June to check their equipment with the signal. Remember: o to ensure all the systems are working under full load, Teams need to be set up at least 30 minutes prior to the competition each day even if you are not competing until the afternoon. o During demonstration runs only full length will be filmed and distributed. o Team members must stay outside cameras view during the filming of demonstration runs 18. Medical Services location and availability Medical care will be provided by physician on the sport. There will be an ambulance & medical point during the competition at the end of the course. 19. Equipment measuring and post competition control Equipment Control is located at finish and is open for self-checking from until on Thursday Post competition control will be and random checking will occur with all boats being checked during the Finals. 22. Doping control station location and notification The doping control station is located in the main building. Athletes will be notified for Doping Control at finish area. Please do not forget ID card or passport. 23. Extreme Canoe Slalom A. Time Trials Time trials will be run without gates Time trials start will be from ramp. Time trials finish line will be the same CSL course. The time trials will be held from 2pm on Thursday B. Briefing Mandatory athlete briefing: Sunday 24 June at at the start platform C. Start Logistics for final phases Access to start will be on the right side of the course. After the finish Athletes need to the river and exit with the stairs on the left bank and put the boat on the trailer. 24. Accreditation to the Venue The Accreditation Office is located in the main building. Accreditation will be required from the Friday morning when access control commences. 25. Car parking Each team can park 1 or 2 cars (teams with more 10 competitors can park 2 cars) in the parking P3 team area. 9 26. Security The venue is a gated area and will be closed from to every day. There will be surveillance during the night. The Organising Committee recommends not leaving anything valuable in the tents, the cars or at the competition venue. The Organising Committee will not accept liability in case of theft or disappearance of equipment from the site. 27. Race office Race Office is located in Accreditation office and is open from 8:00 till 16:00 each day The phone number for race information is Lucia ZAHORSKA Team boxes are located near the Race Office. 28. Athlete s photo for TV graphics and sport presentation Some team leaders received a list of athletes without a proper photo for TV graphics. A photo session is organised by ICF media department: o Thursday 21 June from 15:30 to 17:00 o Location: Meeting room, first floor of the main building The targeted athletes are kindly requested to come during this slot wearing their National uniform. 10 29. ICF subjects Reminder for the ICF Coaches and team leaders forum: 6.30pm, Tuesday 26 June, Krakow WCS 2 with two main topics: «Road to Tokyo 2020» and «2019 Rule Changes». A. Coaches and Team Leaders Forum Access to start will be on the right side of the course. B. Extreme Canoe Slalom World Cup Series 5 competitions - Liptovsky Mikulas World Cup 1 - Krakow World Cup 2 - Augsburg World Cup 3 - Tacen World Cup 4 - Rio World Championships, will be considered as World Cup final Prize money based on these 5 competitions C.
