Candidate will identify each chamber and the proper inflation and inspection of the boats within the Swift Water Rescue Team Candidate will explain the different types of hitches and how to connect the boat trailers to them. Candidate will perform a Pre-Response Readiness check to ensure all equipment and gear is ready Candidate will describe the different types of boats used within the Swift Water Rescue Team and each of their advantages and disadvantages. Candidate will perform a Pre-Response Readiness check on all boats operator will be responsible for. Candidate will identify motor, fuel, and mixture ratio if applicable. Candidate will identify starting procedures for each boat type. Candidate will describe the kill switch and its use. Candidate will describe the importance of proper fuel line connections and the reason for fuel cell venting.
