To be considered for the court, each candidate must: Be a CURRENT NFHS student. Be in good academic standing (Must be passing all courses at time of application submission and elections) Be in good behavioral standing (No ISS, OSS this school year; and signature of the grade level principal) Belong to at least ONE NFHS student team, group, or organization (sponsor or coach signature required) Receive TWO faculty/staff signatures from current NFHS teachers Turn in ALL FORMS by Friday, September 23, 2016 to Room 343 by 4:00 p.m. NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED FOR ANY REASON! *By signing below, I agree that this student would be a good candidate for the 2016 NFHS Homecoming court. 2 PLEDGE OF RESPONSIBILITY I,, realize that my duties and responsibilities as a candidate for the 2016 Homecoming Court include the following: 1. I must be passing all classes at time of application submission and election. 2. I must be in good behavioral standing (No ISS, OSS this school year). 2. I must at all times set a good example as a NFHS representative. I understand that my discipline record and grades could prevent me from being eligible. 3. I will cooperate fully with the Student Council, its sponsor and the NFHS Administration. 4. I will abide by ALL the rules and regulations outlined in the Student Code of Conduct. 5. I will participate in the Homecoming Pep Rally, the pregame and halftime activities during the Homecoming football game, and the Homecoming Dance, and attend all required court meetings. 6. I will be appropriately dressed for all Homecoming activities. Failure to adhere to the school and district dress code WILL result in my exclusion from those activities. If, for any reason, I cannot or do not fulfill any or all of these responsibilities, I understand that I will be eliminated from participation.
