Contestants must demonstrate, to the satisfaction of I.C.M.T.S. panel, that you do NOT have ANY of the following: Music recording contract; Any other contractual arrangement that would prohibit you from auditioning or entering into a management or recording contract; REQUIREMENTS: A non- refundable registration fee of $ Each contestant is required to be ready to perform with two song selections. Contestants must supply their own music the day of the event. Tracks, A-cappella, or guitar and vocal performances ONLY. Registration will begin at 9:00. Each contestant will perform one song. Each contestant will receive a one-on-one audition, as well as a stage performance. Total performance time not to exceed four (4) minutes, otherwise a total of five points will be deducted from your overall score. This is an all-day event. We require you to be there for duration of event. Your estimated audition time will be listed in your registration packet. Winners from each location will move on to the final competition in Nashville on November 11, 2017.

3 COMPETITION RULES: All performances must be done in good taste; no music or lyrics that I.C.M.T.S. consider to be offensive may be performed. I.C.M.T.S. panel reserves the right to refuse a song that they deem inappropriate for the show format. Vocal accompaniments by others are NOT allowed. This does not apply to vocal groups. No live bands, special lighting, props, or special effects may be used. FINAL COMPETITION: Contestants who advance to the finals are required to render different songs from his/her previous performance under this program. Maximum time limit for performance is four (4) minutes, otherwise a total of five (5) points will be deducted from his/her overall score. Contestants will be appointed an exclusive, limited rehearsal time. Only his/her party will be allowed in the rehearsal area during their designated time. Finalists must submit a CD recording of songs (with artists vocals) of his/her two (2) song selections from which one (1) will be selected by I.C.M.T.S. panel for competition performance. If a CD recording is unavailable, these songs may be submitted by video. In the finals on November 11, 2017, the winners from each competition will have their final face-off to declare the overall winner of the Inspirational Country Music Talent Showdown. The winner will go on to perform live at the 2017 Inspirational Country Music Awards Pre-Show in Nashville. VOTING AND JUDGING To ensure fairness, the judging system applied is by a combination of scores: audience votes for 25% of the total score and the judges tally of points account for 75% of the total score. Each member of the audience with a ballot will cast their one vote for a favored contestant. Audience Voting: Each paying ticket holder will be given a ballot at the door. Door admission will be $5.00 per person. Anyone 12 and under is free and is ineligible to vote. The data required on the ballot must be fully filled out to be a valid vote. The ballot will contain a full list of contestants. A selection of only one contestant will be marked, otherwise the ballot is nullified. Announcement for the collection of the ballots by designated I.C.M.T.S. members will be announced by the emcee. After the last call announcement for the ballots by the emcee, any remaining not submitted ballots will be nullified. The ballots will be collected and counted by I.C.M.T.S. appointed committee members.

4 Judging Criteria: Performances will be awarded points in each of the following categories: 35% (1) Vocal Ability: Rhythm / Pitch / Enunciation / Overall Ability 15% (2) Stage Presence: Movement / Stage Professionalism 15% (3) Appearance 15% (4) Song Selection 20% (5) Overall Impression I.C.M.T.S. reserves the right to establish a new Judging Criteria Tie Breaker: >>> In the event of a tie, the first tie-breaker shall be the highest number of points given in the Overall Impression category >>> The second tie-breaker shall be the highest number of points given in Vocal Ability >>> The third tie-breaker shall be by a secret vote of the judges based on overall performance style and impact. CONTEST PRIZES ALL participants will receive coaching and educational resources the day of the event. Following the contest, each entry will be mailed score sheets, along with a written evaluation from our professional panel in order to help them improve their craft. Each participant will have their photo and website featured in a national music publication: Power Source Magazine. All participants will receive a T-Shirt with registration packet 1 ST Place: Advancement to Finals which will be held on November 11 th in Nashville, TN at Generation Changers Church Single Song Recording Digital Release to Inspirational Country radio with one tracking report and two months promotion. Full page ad in Power Source Magazine The Inspirational Country Music Association will donate two (2) conference passes for the next ICM Faith, Family, and Country Week and two (2) tickets to the annual ICM Awards Show in Nashville, TN. For two hours, you ll have the opportunity to have songs pitched from Nashville songwriters at T.S.A.I. headquarters on a Wednesday night of your choosing. An interview can also be arranged with Robby Lynn of Sunday s Kind of Country and Marty Smith of Heaven s Country if you are willing to travel. An official certificate will be given.
