HELP is welcome! FALL AWARDS AND POTLUCK Fall awards for all 7-12 students who played JV and Varsity FB, VB, Comp Cheer, and XC will be November 13 th at 6:00 pm. Students who were involved in these activities will have flyers placed on their lockers with more information. CHRISTMAS CONCERTS K-6 will be November 30 th at 7:00 pm 7-12 will be Monday, December 3 rd at 7:00 pm OFF THE FRIDGE See attached FROM THE STUDENT COUNCIL There are still spots open for Cookies & Canvas on both Monday & Tuesday, so we are still accepting registration forms! Come join us! FROM THE CHEERLEADERS The St. Mary Cheerleaders will be hosting their annual cheerleading clinic on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9:00-12:00 for girls in grades K-6th! They will perform at halftime of the BBB game against Mitchell Christian on Tuesday, December 11. A registration form is attached and DUE by Friday, November 16th. Where: St. Mary Lunchroom Cost: $15 per child (includes after school snack, canvas, & all painting supplies.) Why: ½ of the proceeds will be donated to the Dell Rapids food pantry & ½ of the funds will be used for projects around the school. *Students MUST PREREGISTER!! We ve taken these masterpieces by local students off the fridge and put them on display in the second floor lobby of the Washington Pavilion. Art is much more than making a picture. Art fosters creative thinking, problem solving, utilizes motor skills and promotes personal expression. Art is good for you! Please join us at the Washington Pavilion for a FREE opening reception to meet the artists and enjoy the exhibition. Stay and tour the art galleries and Raven Children s Studio. Admission to the Visual Arts Center is free from 10 a.m. until noon.

5 St. Mary Cardinal Cheerleaders Cheerleading Clinic Camp: Saturday, December 8, 2018 Future Cardinal Cheerleaders: The St. Mary Cardinal Cheerleaders will be hosting a cheerleading clinic for all girls in grade K-6, on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 9:00-12:00pm. in the St. Mary gym. The girls will learn various skills throughout the morning, along with cheers and chants that they will perform during half time of the boys basketball game against Mitchell Christian on Tuesday, December 11. The registration fee for the clinic will be $15.00, which will include instruction from the St. Mary cheerleaders, a cheer T-shirt and a snack. If your daughter is interested in attending, please fill out the bottom half of this form return it, along with the registration fee, to the grade school office no later than Friday, November 16 th. T-shirts can t be guaranteed for late registration. Checks should be made payable to St. Mary Cheerleaders. Check in Saturday will be from 8:45 to 9:00 in the high school gym. Monday night we would ask that all girls be to the game by 7:30 and sit together on the bleachers at the east end of the gym. At the end of the 1 st quarter of the varsity game we will gather everyone in the lunchroom and have a short review before the performance. The girls should wear red or black bottoms and the T- shirts they receive at the clinic for the performance. Don t miss out on the fun! Join us on December 8 th!
