1 2018 Miss Fall Festival Pageant Pageant: Friday, September 21, :00 pm FCI Constructors Civic Center Stage General Rules and Regulations Contest is categorized by age and will be put into age group based on age as of June 20th of Contestants must live in the following zip codes to be eligible for entry: 81521, 81524, 81525, or All contestants need to submit a photo, short paragraph about themselves, any background music (on CD or USB drive) needed for talent portion, and the registration fee ($10) to Rhema Music & Clothing Co. by Friday September 14 th. Beauty Pageant- September 21st Talent portion starts at 7pm Evening Gown to immediately follow o Dress: Formal attire. o Queen contestants will answer one question on stage. o All contestants must have an escort for the Evening Gown Competition All contestants must be accompanied by an adult and arrive at Rhema Music & Clothing Co. (219 E. Aspen Ave.) by 5:45pm to check in. Pageant will begin promptly at 7pm. All contestants will be required to perform the talent portion as well as the evening gown portion of the program. Fall Festival Parade -September 22nd The Queen, Princess, and Junior Princess winners will be expected to ride in the Fall Festival Parade on Saturday, September 22 nd - lining up at 9:00 am. They will also be assigned to attend certain events on Saturday and Sunday to hand out awards and take pictures.

6 Rules and Regulations: As contestant in the Miss Fruita Fall Festival pageant, I accept the Rules and Regulations as stated below. 1. I have truthfully disclosed my age as of June 20, If I win my age division I must be available September 22 and 23 for Fall Festival duties that may include having my picture taken during events for publications, passing out awards, riding in the parade, etc. 3. During all events, I will wear modest attire and have my crown and sash on at all times while at the festival. 4. I release my biography as provided in the application to be used for press releases. 5. I give permission that all pictures taken by the festival photographer at both events and of winners during the festival may be used at the festival s discretion. 6. I understand that the pageant does not allow for unsportsmanlike behavior and will lead to disqualification. This rule applies to all contestants, family members and guests. 7. I understand that all decisions of the judges are final and irrevocable. 8. As a participant I, the undersigned, fully recognize the risks of accident or injury inherent with the event and activities associated with the beauty pageant. I accept such risks and will save and hold harmless the City of Fruita, the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce/Fruita Fall Festival/Fruita Fall Festival Committee, its sponsors, and officials for any bodily injury or property loss arising out of this event and related activities.
