Hard work and dedication are required so you come prepared to work hard and intensely with a championship mindset. It is a privilege to be part of a team and represent your school well. We ask that you give everything you have and focus solely on coursework and volleyball during the season. All athletes are welcome to play, but prior volleyball experience is preferred. We highly encourage offseason weight training and club team play. With high numbers of participants in years past, it may be necessary to make cuts to the team. Open gym volleyball is held in June and July (check the school calendar for dates and times) until school begins. Once school is in session, practices will be everyday from 3:15-5:45. Time commitments are a major factor with summer open gyms and summer league play, as well as, summer camps, clinics, after school practices and games 2-3 nights a week and weekend tournaments.
