Philosophy: Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc. provides a safe, positive environment where athletes of all ages and abilities can grow in the sport while learning life-long lessons in character, teamwork, commitment, responsibility, and respect. Motto: At Pennsylvania Elite, we believe success isn t measured in trophies, banners, jackets, or medals. We believe success is measured in personal growth, performance, commitment to yourself, your team, and your sport. Awards can get lost, broken, outgrown, and replaced but success lasts forever. Success comes when each athlete and each team works to outperform their personal best. The journey defines the champion! What separates Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc. from other all-star programs in the area? We strive to allow our athletes to succeed not only in this sport but in other endeavors. We value all of our athletes many talents and work to accommodate athletes that are involved in other school/sporting events. We are realistic in our travel and financial expectations. While we work hard to ensure that our athletes attend competitive events and are able to compete at a high level of excellence, we also work hard to do so with reasonable expenses and out of school commitments. All of our coaches are highly knowledgeable and welltrained in the sport. Our team coaches have USASF credentialing, have worked for national cheerleading organizations, have cheered on the state, national, world and/or collegiate level, and are up to date on current level expectations, rules, and choreography. We house athletes from all over central Pennsylvania. Athletes travel over an hour one way to be a part of this cheer family. The friendships and bonds made despite the distances traveled is irreplaceable. We have achieved great success at various levels winning numerous National titles, Grand Championships, and U.S. Final titles. This season we placed 8 th in the XSC5 division at World s. We also received three bids to the D2 Summit. #smallgymbigtalent

Start-up package is not for prep or tiny teams. *Registration fee covers insurance costs. *Competition fees cover USASF membership fees, music fees, in house choreography fees, coaches fees, end of year gift, and competition registration fees. There is a monthly discount for multiple member families (half tuition for each additional child). If you wish to cross-over and are selected to be on more than one team, you will need to pay all cross-over competition fees (which are reduced at events), but will not pay additional registration or monthly fees. Monthly tuition fees will be processed the first of each month. Extra Yearly Expenses: New uniforms: World s team (top, skort, capri) $420; Youth/Junior teams (top, skort, liner) $420; Senior teams $345 (top, skort); Mini estimate $200; Prep estimate $150. Uniform bow: estimated $20-$30 for all teams. Shoes: TBD Hotel and Travel expenses. End of Season event fees: The One, The Finale, U.S. Finals, Summit, World s (depending upon bids), etc Extra classes, clinics, camps, merchandise, and private lessons (all optional)

3 Important Dates to Remember Results and summer practice schedules will be messaged to athletes by June 3, Practices will begin the week of June 4. Final team placements will be decided by July 31. Season practice schedules, competition payment schedules, and tentative competition schedules will be available at team parent meetings in August. All monthly fees are due the first of each month. Competition fees will be broken into payments. These payments will begin in July and will most likely be finished by January. Brush up on current skills and work to increase new skills at our May Open Gyms: May 15, 6-7:30 pm, ages 7 and up (ages as of 8/31/2018) $10 May 16, 6-7:30 pm, ages 7 and up (ages as of 8/31/2018) $10 May 17, 6-7:30 pm, ages 7 and up (ages as of 8/31/2018) $10 Want to know more about our season join us on May 20 th! Free open gym from 1-2:30 pm and Informational meeting at 2:30 pm. Take advantage of early registration! Turn in your paperwork on the 20 th and receive a reduced tryout/registration fee of $115. Stunting is huge in all-star cheer placement!! Perfect those stunting skills in preparation for the new season at one of our stunt clinics! Bases, backs, and flyers are encouraged to attend! May 22 (ages 8 and up) 6-8 pm, $25 per person May 23 (ages 8 and up) 6-8 pm, $25 per person Tryout information: May 24: tryout clinic, $25 per person. Athletes will learn tryout material and practice the tryout process. Ages 7-11: 6-7:30 pm and Ages 12-18: 7:30-9 pm (all ages as of 8/31/2018) May 29: tryouts for ages 3-6, 5-6 pm and tryouts for ages 7-11, 6-9 pm. 5 Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc Liability Waiver, Financial Obligation, and Release Form I give my child,, permission to participate in the Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading Program for the competitive season. Please read carefully the information below and initial on each line. As a legal guardian of the above registered student, I hereby give my consent for the aforementioned to participate in any and all cheerleading, gymnastics, dance, and/or ninja classes/events held at Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc. or attended by Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc. I understand that with any sport of this nature, there are inherent risks involved. The risk of injury includes but is not limited to minor injuries as well as catastrophic injuries. While the personnel and equipment at Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc. are fully trained and safe for all athletes, this risk cannot entirely be eliminated. I agree to waive, release, absolve, indemnify, and forever discharge any and all rights and claims for injury which may arise now or in the future against Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc. or any of its personnel for any and all damages which my child/children may sustain while attending and participating in any activity/class/event through Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc. Additionally, I fully understand that the staff of Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc. are not physicians and/or medical practitioners. With that in mind, I hereby release Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading staff to render first aid to my child/children in the event of injury or illness. I agree to allow the staff (if deemed necessary) to have the authority to seek medical help, including transportation (paid or volunteer) and necessary medical treatment to/by any health care facility or hospital, in the event that I cannot be reached. I understand that I am responsible for all medical treatments and expenses that may be necessary. I also verify that my child/children has passed a physical examination within the last 12 months and is capable of participating in activities, events, and classes held at/by Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc. I hereby give Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc the unrestricted right and permission to copyright and reuse, publish, and republish photographic portraits, pictures, and/or videos of my child/children or in which my child/children may be included for the purpose of illustration, art, promotion, or advertising. This includes web, print, and any other medium. I understand that I am making a full year financial agreement to this program. I also understand that all my fees paid and all fundraising money is nonrefundable if I decide to no longer be a part of this program. If I am injured and unable to participate for the remainder of the season, my fundraising money can be saved for the next season, but can t be refunded to the participant. I agree to authorize the charges associated with the specified and/or registered class, team, or event(s). If the fees are not paid by the first of the month for team, by the first class/event, or by the dates specified by the Pennsylvania Elite program, I understand that they may be processed by the accounting department using the credit card or bank account information on file. If payment is not received and/or credit card is declined, the participant may be dropped from the team/class/event. If a check is returned for non-sufficient funds, I realize that I am required to resubmit payment in full as well as pay the necessary returned check fees. Enrolled participants needing to drop a class/activity/event must do so at least one week prior to the start date in order to receive any refund. I realize that all the fees paid and associated with all classes/events enrolled in are non-refundable (regardless of whether I attend or not). I understand that Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc. owns the rights to the program name, program logo, and team names. I will not create any merchandise using these, unless prior permission is granted by Brett or Tracy Derr. I agree to show the utmost respect to the Pennsylvania Elite facility and staff. I agree that if parents/guardians/siblings/family/friends would like to watch any activities held at Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc, that we will do so from within the parent viewing areas. We will not enter the training area or office area unless directed by staff to do so. Additionally, any other children brought along as a spectator must be supervised completely and are not permitted to use any equipment in the training facility. I agree not to visibly/audibly or in any other way distract students and/or staff during class times. I agree to be sure to keep parent viewing areas clean and dispose of

6 trash as needed. I also agree to remain positive at all times in the viewing areas. I agree not to videotape or photograph without prior permission. I agree to value the schedules set forth by Pennsylvania Elite Cheerleading, Inc. and make every effort to have my athlete(s) at all scheduled events. I understand that by signing this form, I am making a yearlong commitment to this program. Failure to complete this commitment results in hardships for my team.
