3 Attention all students; The MVA will be offering the Maryland Learners Permit test on Saturday, April 23 rd at 12:00 noon. If you are age eligible and would like to participate in the testing process, here at Watkins Mill High School, stop by the main office for your permission slip. All permission slips are due back no later than April 20 th. Don t hesitate, this is the last opportunity for this school year.

4 Hey Students! Want to earn a few SSL hours after school TODAY? We need student to help welcome and direct visiting teachers around our building during the Job Fair. Come see Mrs. Shpilyuk in B200 right after the announcements if you are interested. Thank you

5 attention staff and students. The next Family food Market is Saturday April 16, All students that are interested in earning SSL hours should be here on Saturday at 7:30am.

7 Attention seniors: If you want to perform at the graduation ceremony, come and see Ms. Young in Room B112 by the end of the day on Friday.

8 The Freedom Movement club is meeting today to get ready for Freedom Week next week. We will be reviewing a movie also. All members should attend.

9 The health room is once again offering free customized mouth guards. If you would like one, please stop by the health room to pick up parent permission forms and schedule your fitting!

10 Attention seniors: If you are available to work the senior bake sale on April 26 th, please see Ms. Young to give her your name and the times you will work. You can receive SSL hours for your time. This fundraiser is to help pay for transportation to the senior picnic.

11 Attention ALL Juniors and Seniors! Have you gotten your Prom tickets yet? The price will go up in 2 weeks, so get yours now! Come by B200 and buy yours today! Remember, just two more weeks for a 45 dollar ticket!! Obligations must be paid! And now for some Career Center News!

12 Juniors: Attend the College Fair with Watkins Mill on April 19 th. This is a free fieldtrip to the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Hundreds of colleges will be there to talk with you about academic programs, scholarships, student life and more. Stop by the College/Career Center to pick up a permission slip.

13 Seniors: Today, Thursday, April 7, is the deadline to turn in your completed PTSA/Booster Club Scholarship application to Mrs. Prochnow in the College/Career Center

14 Attention Seniors: The PTSA Booster Club Scholarship application is now available in the College Career Center. Complete one scholarship application to be considered for twenty different scholarships. No transcript or letters of recommendation needed. Not a PTSA member? No worries. The membership form is attached to the application. Stop by the College Career Center today to pick up the packet.

15 Attention all students. If you are in need of SSL hours, please see Coach Adams about volunteering at the home track meets this year. Coach Adams is located in room C104 during STEP and you can sign up to volunteer at any of the four home track meets this spring.

16 The Students v. Staff basketball game will be Tuesday, April 19 at 7pm in the Main Gym. Any interested senior needs to sign up with Ben Bacorro. YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY! Tickets will be sold at the door for $1 for spectators. Want to win a FREE ticket to PROM?!? Come to the Students v. Staff Basketball game to try your luck at a ½ court shot. The first two people that make the shot during halftime will win 1 free ticket. Each shot costs $1. Good luck!
