3 Presidents Corner Well folks here we go again, the dates are set for the car shows and the plans have begun. Hold on to your hats because we are off and running with a new year in club events. Hope you will consider coming to a few meetings to help us figure out and implement another successful event schedule. As usual, the more hands the easier it is to get the job done. We are starting a list of folks who will be attending the 50 th birthday celebration in Charlotte NC in the spring. If you are planning on attending please let us know so we can add you to the list. If we get 20 cars from our club we will get parking together at the event. Contact one of the officers to get added. Thank you. Dues are due for the 2014 year ($20.00) Sorry I forgot to put that in again - old age!! Please pay them in January if at all possible so we can put this task to rest and move on to other things. Elsewhere in the newsletter is a list of those people who joined the club after the August deadline and do not have to pay dues at this time. Elsewhere in the newsletter is this year s schedule for our bi-monthly dinners. Thanks again to John Watters for setting this up for us. Take exit 8A follow signs for Grooms Road. Turn right onto Grooms Road. At Route 9 the name of the road will change to Guideboard road. Proceed to the next light and take a left onto Route 236. About a mile down the road you will see Town Hall on your right. The last intersection is Fellows Road. If you reach Hayner Road, you ve gone too far.

5 Adirondack Shelby-Mustang Regional Club Minutes from January 9, 2014 Meeting ASMC Secretary, Donna K. DeVoe Old Business Meeting held at Halfmoon Town Hall. Meeting called to order at 7:01 pm. and recorded. Change made on the December Newsletter. March meeting will be held on March 6 th not 7 th as published. Phil Benner made a motion to accept the minutes & change and John Watters seconded the motion. Minutes were approved. Walt passed around the club mail and . Steve Freed distributed the 2 month Treasurer s report for members to review. The beginning balance was $3, and the ending balance is $1, Al DelSignore II made a motion to accept the treasurer s report and the motion was seconded by Phil Benner. The treasurer s report was accepted. Welcome aboard to our new member Brad Beal whom drives a 1999 SVT Cobra. Budget for 2014 was passed out by Steve Freed. New member mailings and permanent membership cards are a top priority given to Donna K. DeVoe and she will present a budget aforesaid. The budget mentioned a summer trip that has not been planned at this point. Membership $20 dues were due on/by the January meeting. Please make sure if you haven t paid them, pay as soon as possible. Donations of 2 shirts, 2 hats and 2 mugs were made to Jack Byrne Ford in December to help raise monies for the Fire Department Auxiliary to adopt families in need for Christmas Dinners and toys. 50/50 The winner was John Smith of $ New Business Make-A-Wish was unanimously voted as the ASMC charity for Hoffman Carwash tickets were also approved for sale in Tickets are currently available to purchase from Steve Freed. Bimonthly Dinners will be scheduled and organized by John Watters. Months are March, April, June, August and October with dates and venues to follow. Thursday Night Harbor House Cruises are ON!!! Joe has confirmed he will add monies to our door prize fund. A second Cruise Night has not been scheduled or planned to date more to follow in upcoming meetings. Christmas Party 2014 venues are now being researched by Donna K. DeVoe and a vote will be required by members at our February Meeting. CAR SHOWS for 2014 are as follows Jack Byrne Sunday, May 18, 2014 Metro Ford Saturday, August 16, 2014 Brown Ford Saturday, September 13, 2014 MCA Report The 3 (three) National Mustang Shows will be held May 23 thru 25, 2014 in Springfield Illinois, August 7 thru 10, 2014 in Lincoln Nebraska and October 10 thru 12, 2014 in Savannah Georgia. See MCA list of dates and information on regional shows and clubs with more details and links on their website MCA Memberships are $50 per year with multiple year discounts. The previous special discount promotion has ended. Al DelSignore III will be keeping a list of members who will be attending the 50 th Birthday celebration in Charlotte NC. If we get 20 cars attending we will be granted a specific parking area for our member cars. Please let Al know if you are attending. Meeting was adjourned at 7:57 pm.

8 Hoffman Car Wash Tickets: Ticket prices are $5.50 for the basic (exterior automatic wash only) and $11.00 for the deluxe (exterior automatic wash and interior vacuuming & cleaning). They have no expiration date and are the cheapest way to get a great Hoffman car wash. All of the profits are donated to our local Make-A-Wish chapter. As before, there isn t a cost to the membership just a nice friendly communications about our sick members. Phil and Helen Benner have volunteered to run this for us.
