1 2018 PASCO PRIDE INC MISTER, MISS & DIVA PAGEANT Agreements 1. Contestant shall adhere to Pasco Pride Inc Pageant Rules and Regulations in addition to those agreements set forth herein. 2. Title Holder Obligations. A. Appear at 2-3 events chosen by Pasco Pride Inc B. Winner will volunteer 10 hours of Community Service with Pasco Pride Inc in addition to the events obligation. C. Winner will serve on the Pasco Pride Pageant Committee the following year. D. Winner will be eligible to run for the Title every (3) three years. E. Winner will perform on the main stage at the Pasco Pride Festival and perform as the Titleholder for the Reigning Year. i. No Booth will be provided to the Winners at the Pasco Pride Festival. ii. A Meet & Greet for the Winners will be hosted at the Pasco Pride Festival After-Party at Dulcet. iii. Fee schedule and application process for bookings will be determined by the Pasco Pride Inc Board Members. 3. Title Holders Responsibilities. A. The Title Holders agree to hold the respective Title and Pasco Pride Inc to the highest esteem. The Title Holder agrees that while appearing or entertaining, or otherwise representing the Title during their reign to the following; B. Not to engage in the use of illegal substances or engage in any illegal activity. C. Not to engage in any malicious gossip. D. To provide a satisfactory publicity photograph with Crown and Sash within 30 days of assuming the Title for use by Pasco Pride Inc. E. To maintain contact with Pasco Pride Inc during the year of their reign. 4. Pasco Pride Inc Remedies. A. If the Titleholder defaults under this contract, Pasco Pride Inc may treat any one or more of the forgoing occurrences as a breach of this contract and thereupon, at its option, may without notice or demand (which Title Holder hereby expressly waives), invoke any or all of, but not limited to, the following remedies: i. Revoke the Title from the Title Holder. ii. Demand the return of all prizes, awards and/or monies given to the Title Holder. iii. Refuse entry into any of the promoters franchised pageants. iv. Pass the Title to the 1 st Runner-up or any other person felt to be qualified by the Pasco Pride Inc Board. v. Refuse bookings and appearances of an Official nature to the Title Holder.

Release: The Contestant agrees to release and hold harmless Pasco Pride Inc, the Executive Board and their Committee Members from any liability and or responsibility whatsoever, resulting from association with or arising out of Contestant s participation in the Pasco Pride Festival, Parade, Pageant, and or the Title including, but not limited to, personal injury, loss or damage to personal property regardless of whether the loss or injury occurs before, during or after the Pasco Pride Pageant or any other related event or activity. The contestant hereby releases themselves from any and all rights to any videotaping (sound and or video), photography or motion picture of Pasco Pride Inc Pageant or any Pasco Pride Inc events. Contestants also understands that they have or will have NO rights to any recordings or photographs arising out of said pageant that the contestant may appear in or on. The contestant will also have NO rights to any proceeds from sales resulting from said recordings or photographs. Pasco Pride Inc Board Members reserves the right to decide concerning any matters not covered in the rules and regulations and the contestant agreement. 3 Title Categories Mister Pasco Pride: defined as a self-identified female competing as a Male Illusionist. Miss Pasco Pride: defined as a self-identified male competing as a Female Illusionist. Miss Pasco Pride Diva: defined as a self-identified female competing as a female. Rules and Regulations 1. All contestants must live within a 200-mile radius of Pasco County. 2. There is a (3) three contestant minimum required for each division to move forward with a competition. 3. The Executive Board of Pasco Pride Inc nor its official liaisons are not financially or otherwise responsible for anyone including Titleholders who may wish to participate in events produced by Pasco Pride Inc or its Sponsors. 4. This competition does not discriminate against contestants based upon their size, weight, race, age, national origin, disability, sexual preference or gender identity. 5. Each contestant is responsible for their conduct and the conduct of their dresser and or other participants in their onstage presentations (i.e. dancers). Contestants shall be respectful, polite and cooperative. 6. The use of illegal substances by contestants, dressers and or members of contestant s on-stage presentations are prohibited. Violation will result in immediate disqualification without refund of entrance fee and or donations. 7. Any contestant, dresser or other participant in an on-stage presentation caught stealing or vandalizing property will result in the immediate disqualification without refund of entrance fee and or donations. Further, they are subject to any applicable legal consequences. 8. Any contestant who is not at the designated place at the appointed time will have a 100-point administrative deduction. 9. Competition order will be determined by the order of applications turned in. The first application received will have the option of their contestant number. 10. Each contestant may have (1) one dresser in the dressing room. Due to space limitations, other members of a contestant s ensemble (dancers, prop persons, etc) may enter the dressing room (2) two entertainers prior to the contestant s performance. A contestant caught having more than (1) one assistant backstage to soon will have an administrative deduction of 25 points. 11. Each contestant will receive a Master Score Sheet and their individualized scores and critiques the night of the Pageant. 12. Music for the talent portion will be collected during registration. Talent music MUST be on a flash drive that only contains the talent clearly labeled. An administrative deduction of 25 points will be deducted if the music is not properly turned in. 13. Beverages and food are not provided but may be purchased. 14. Each contestant will receive (1) one dresser pass. All other assistants or dancers /extras must purchase a $10 pass.

4 15. Beverages and food are NOT allowed in the dressing area. Any contestant, dresser or member of a contestant s ensemble caught with a beverage or food in the dressing room will receive an administrative deduction of 25 points from the contestants final score. Scoring Criteria Presentation PRIDE Wear (50 points): Contestants may wear any kind of presentation wear that uses the Theme for this Years Pasco Pride Pageant, PRIDE. Each contestant should choose a creative costume or over-the-top look based on one of the six colors of the Pride Flag. The contestant will model their presentation wear onstage and then be asked to introduce themselves and briefly explain why they selected their color and what it means to them. Nudity, water, live animals, pyrotechnics and or loose glitter are NOT allowed. Formal Evening Wear (75 points): Each contestant will model formal evening wear for (1) one minute. This is the opportunity for the contestant to display their formal fashionable side. Contestants will be judged on the fit, style and modeling technique. On-Stage Question (100 points): Each contestant will be asked a question related to Pride Fest, an LGBTQ+ issue or subject which is applicable to them or the LGBTQ+ community. Each contestant within the same category will draw a different question. Talent (300 points): Any skill, hobby, or performance that the contestant would like to present to the audience and judges. The performances will be scored on creativity, talent and presentation. Talent numbers may NOT exceed (7) Seven Minutes in length. However, contestants are allowed (2) two extra minutes in addition to performance time for prop set-up and tear-down. Any type of talent is acceptable, but, once again, no nudity, water, live animals, pyrotechnics and or loose glitter allowed. Fundraising (25 points): Designated volunteers will walk around the venue to collect donations from the audience on behalf of each contestant during the evening for an equal amount of time. Each dollar collected will represent (1) one point. Tiebreaker: In the event of a tie, the contestant who has raised more funds during he Competition will be chosen the winner. This decision will be based on the TOTAL FUNDS RAISED by the contestant. Once a tie is identified, all donations raised by the contestants involved will cease and be counted immediately. Judges: A panel of (5) five judges from various backgrounds will be chosen by the Executive Board. A member of the Executive Board of Pasco Pride Inc, or representatives(s) appointed by the Board who are not part of the judging process shall tabulate scores. Judges will not be made aware of points given for the fundraising category until after the Crowning. Fundraising will NOT affect any of the other categories.

5 Competition Prizes: Official Pasco Pride Inc Crown Official Pasco Pride Inc Sash Dedication on Pasco Pride Inc website at pascoprideproud.org The honor of representing Pasco Pride Inc and the use of the Pageant Title for (1) one year. The honor of being highlighted in the 2018 Pride Festival being held on Saturday, October 6, The Title Holders will be featured at the official Pasco Pride afterparty held at Dulcet in downtown New Port Richey. The honor of being highlighted on the Main Stage at Pride Fest Ticket for the Pride Fest 2018 VIP Party at Dulcet. Professional Promotional Photography Session $1000 (one thousand) cash prize. ($500 pageant, balance paid at time of step down at next year s Pageant) Pageant Schedule EVENT DATE/TIME LOCATION Early Registration Ends Sep 1, 2018 Pascoprideproud.org Final Registration Ends Sept 30, 3pm Pascoprideproud.org Pageant Orientation Sep 30, 1pm Dulcet Stage Rehearsal Time Sep 30, 3pm Dulcet Contestant Check-in Sep 30, 3pm Dulcet Pageant Sept 30, 6pm - Dulcet Pageant Schedule is subject to change the day of the event depending on the number of contestants. All contestants will be notified during registration of the evenings schedule and order of categories. Once contestant order is decided during Orientation a lineup will be made and posted in all dressing rooms. Early Registration Entry Fee - $ After Sep 1, 2018, Entry Fee - $ Entry fees are non-refundable, unless the Pageant is canceled by Pasco Pride Inc. Registration and fees can be done online at pascoprideproud.org or printed and filled out, mailed to Pasco Pride Inc, 4305 Summersun Dr, New Port Richey, FL with checks payable to Pasco Pride Inc.
