2 From 215: -Exit McCall and turn West. -Travel west on McCall approximately 1.5 miles. -McCall turns left and becomes Valley Blvd -In approximately 1/10 of a mile turn left on --Roanoke Road and make an immediate right on Portsmouth. The church is on the left. From Newport Road About ½ mile west of the Kay Ceniceros Center is Murrieta Road (Stater Bros Shopping Center) Turn north on Murrieta Rd. (Right if you re coming from 215; left if you re coming from Elsinore/Canyon lake) Travel 1.4 miles on Murrieta Rd. to Sun City Blvd -Turn left on Sun City Blvd and travel 4/10 miles to Portsmouth Turn right and travel ½ mile. The church is on the right. Or go farther on Murrieta Rd. to Cherry Hills Blvd. Turn left to Portsmouth then turn right to the church

Our own Bob Stoops was calling and there to support him was his wife Carole and Diane Johnson, Bill & Jackie Brown, David & Merrie Ann Franks, Jan & Jerry Guffey, Valerie & Mike Perkins, Jolan Gamble, Michele Polley and Twirler friend Don Richardson. A week later, Twirlers traveled to Yucaipa to dance with the Calico Quails at their I ll Be Home For Christmas dance. Dancing to caller Pat Carnathan were Jolan Gamble, Jan & Jerry Guffey, Earlean Wagner, Bill & Jackie Brown, Marylou Hofmann, Susie King, David Franks,and Valerie & Mike Perkins. It is so exciting to have so many Twirlers at dances and we hope it continues in the New Year. Clubs are beginning to notice that we are supporting their dances! Hope to see you at one of our visitations in January. SUNSHINE Say a prayer for our friends that have not been well lately, give them a call, send a card or to let them know you care. 4 PRESIDENTS MESSAGE:!!HAPPY NEW YEAR!! We will still be at the church for class for the month of January. We are not sure what week we will move as yet. Hope everyone had a happy holiday. See you all at the class on January 2nd. And again Happy New Year. Earlean, Co President. BOARD MEETING BRIEFS: OLD BUSINESS: The yard sale scheduled for November 18 had to be cancelled. The new date is February 3, We are looking for more items to sell. Any items that you would like to donate can be brought to the Tuesday or contact a Board Member to arrange for pick ip. NEW BUSINESS: MEMBERSHIP NEWS: We have new Club members! We recently welcomed as new Twirlers Jan & Jerry Guffey and Beth Call. In case you didn t hear, Michele Polley and Cindy Vinckel joined the Club earlier this year. When you see them be sure to say hello and give them a big welcome. NEW ROSTERS: In the next few days you should be receiving by e- mail, an updated Twirler Club roster. Hot off the computer with corrections and additions it will replace the one you received in September. If you would like a hard copy, see the Treasurer or contact Jackie. NEW BADGES: After much discussion, many suggestions, and voting, a new Twirler badge was decided on. Our first order arrived before Christmas and you may have seen members wearing them. Cost for the new badges is $10. If you would like to purchase one, see the Treasurers or contact Dale, Susie, or Jackie NEXT MEETING: Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at David & Merrie Ann Franks home, Willamette Way, Sun City 5:30pm for Pizza. Everyone will pitch in ON the cost. RSVP to David for the pizza, 310/ The meeting will be at 7:00pm. CLASS NOTES: CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER! Tuesday, December 19th was a big night at our class/workshop. Not only did we have a fun Christmas celebration with lots of yummy food, we celebrated the graduation of our March class. Receiving their diploma certifying their status as Plus Dancers were Jan & Jerry Guffey, Jolan Gamble, Michele Polley, and Cindy Vinckel. They have gone to visitations and did very well. We are very proud of our graduates.
