2 Boys Basketball When: June 8-11, 2015 For: 3rd-8th graders Time: 9:00 11:30 am Cost: $75.00/camper Format: The camp will stress shooting techniques, movement with and without the basketball, post techniques, passing, rebounding, team offense principles, and individual and team defense concepts. Holy Cross current and former players, current and former college players, and the coaching staff will be on hand to provide instruction throughout the camp. Info: The cost of camp is $75 per camper. All campers will receive a Holy Cross camp T-shirt. Awards will also be given for winners of different skills competitions throughout the camp. Students are to be dropped off and picked up at the main entrance of the school each morning. Early drop off 8:30 am. 3 Girls Basketball When: June 15-18, 2015 For: 3rd-8th graders Time: 9:00 11:30 am Cost: $75.00/camper Format: The camp will stress fundamental efficiency in the areas of ball handling, passing, and shooting. Campers will also learn the basic concepts involved in team offense and defense along with the transitional aspects of both. During breaks in the camp activity schedule, campers will hear and participate in dialogue relating to sportsmanship, academics, nutrition, and exercise. Holy Cross current players, former college players, and the coaching staff will be on hand to provide instruction throughout the camp. Info: The cost of camp is $75 per camper. If paying by check or money order please make payable to Holy Cross High School Girls Basketball. All campers will receive a Holy Cross camp t-shirt and there will be a pizza party on the last day for all camp participants. Students are to be dropped off and picked up at main entrance of the school each morning. Registration on Monday 8:30 am. 4 Girls Volleyball When: July 15-16, 2015 July 20-21, 2015 July 22-23, 2015 For: K-2nd 3rd-4th 5th-8th graders Time (same for all): 9:00 11:30 am Cost: $50.00 *based on entering grade in school year Format: The sessions for K-4 th graders will cover will cover basic skills including serving, passing, setting, and hitting court zones. Games will also be played. The session for 5 th 8 th graders will cover advanced skills in the areas of serving (jump and regular), passing, setting, hitting, blocking, defensive systems, and offensive plays. Camp will also involve intense drills including ball control, zone serving, & BONGO. Space is limited so please register early. Info: The cost of camp is $50 per camper per session. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt. Students are to be dropped off and picked up at main entrance of the school each night. 5 Dean Wells Football Clinic When: July 10, 2015 For: 5th-8th graders Time: 9:00 1:00 pm Cost: FREE Format: All aspects of football will be covered at the clinic. Holy Cross current and former players along with the coaching staff will be on hand to provide instruction throughout the camp. Former NFL Player and Holy Cross Grad Dean Wells will not only instruct at the camp but will also speak to the campers and address the importance of academics, hard work, and motivation in school, on the field, and in life. Info: This is a free clinic offered by former NFL Standout Dean Wells and the Holy Cross Football Staff. All campers will receive a Holy Cross camp t-shirt and free pizza party at the conclusion of the camp. Parents of Campers are to register and pick up their camper at the main entrance of the football stadium. Early drop off and Registration 8:30 am. A Release form and waiver must be signed for a camper to be able to participate. 6 Boys Football When: July 13-15, 2015 For: 5th-8th graders Time: 9:00 noon Cost: $75.00/camper Format: All aspects of football will be covered at the camp. Holy Cross current and former players along with the coaching staff will be on hand to provide instruction throughout the camp. They will cover offensive and defensive position skill development, 7 on 7 passing, and 1 on 1 drills. Info: This camp is $75. Each camper needs to bring their cleats and tennis shoes. 7 Girls Softball When: August 5, 2015 For: 5th-8th graders Time: 9:00 12:30 pm Cost: $30.00/camper Format: The camp will stress fundamentals in the areas of hitting, fielding, base running, and pitching. Holy Cross current and former players, the coaching staff, and college coaches will be on hand to provide instruction throughout the camp. Please bring all softball gear with you to camp. (Glove, cleats, bat, helmet, etc.) Info: The cost of camp is $ Students are to be dropped off and picked up at the softball complex behind the school. 8 Co-ed Soccer When: June 1-3, 2015 For: 3rd-8th graders Time: 6:00 8:00 pm Cost: $60.00/camper Format: All aspects of soccer will be covered at the clinic. Camp participants will work on fundamental and skills that they can use as they continue their development as soccer players. Holy Cross current and former players along with the coaching staff will be on hand to provide instruction throughout the camp. Info: The cost of the camp is $60 per camper. Parents are to drop off and pick up their campers at the main entrance of the Football/Soccer stadium. 9 Boys Baseball When: June 15-17, 2015 For: 3rd-8th graders Time: 9:00 noon Cost: $75.00/camper Format: The camp will consist of individual instruction of fundamentals in all aspects of the great game of baseball. There will be a skills contest for all campers at the end of the week. Camp will be conducted by the Holy Cross Baseball Coaching Staff, college coaches, players, and former and current HC players. 10 Cheerleading When: June 10-11, 2015 For: 3rd-8th graders Time: 6:00 8:00 pm Cost: $45.00/camper Format: The camp will be conducted by the Holy Cross Cheerleading Coaching Staff as well as current and former cheerleaders. Campers will learn proper technique and motions as well as sideline cheers and a routine. All camp participants will be invited back for a home football game to cheer with the Holy Cross Cheerleaders during a game. Info: The cost of camp is $45. Campers will learn and focus on proper running techniques as well as proper training techniques. Info: The cost of camp is $45.
