2 Looking for a simple way to raise money for your Foundation / Child Life and establish new relationships with corporate donors? The next time a company contacts you asking for a volunteer project at your hospital refer them to Cheeriodicals! Cheeriodicals works with companies to create a unique corporate team building event for their employees that involves assembling hundreds of gift boxes filled with age-appropriate magazines, crafts, puzzles, and toys for hospitalized children. After the gift box assembly, a small team of employees will be led by hospital staff to personally deliver the free gift boxes to your hospital. During the delivery these corporate teams are exposed to your remarkable facility and the amazing way your staff cares for patients and their families. A Cheeriodicals event is often the first step in creating an extremely beneficial relationship between your hospital and a local company and its employees.

4 What s in a Cheeriodical? Child Life programs across the country have helped us develop the perfect cheer-up gift box with a focus on child safety. A Cheeriodicals gift box is packed full of age-appropriate magazines and fun items such as puzzles, activity books, entertaining crafts, a cheerful stuffed animal and much more. Cheeriodicals and its corporate partners have delivered more than 30,000 free gift boxes to children s hospitals in the US and Canada as a result of these unique corporate team building events.

6 What s included in a Cheeriodicals delivery to your hospital? A Gift for Every Patient Our goal is to ensure every inpatient child receives a Cheeriodicals gift box. We provide gift boxes for girls and boys of every age, as well as the parents of infants and preemies. Logistics Coordination We handle all the logistics associated with scheduling the team building activity and the delivery of the gift boxes to your hospital. Corporate Team Involvement 6-8 employees who are part of the corporate team that assembles the gift boxes, along with the Cheeriodicals team, personally deliver the gift boxes allowing your team to showcase your hospital to potential corporate donors. Hospital Awareness We always invite a representative from your hospital (Foundation/Child Life/Patient Advocate) to speak at the team building activity to share your hospital's vision and how this event will impact your patients and their families.
