Your board is committed and each member has assigned duties. Spring is Here It s great to see green lawns and leaves on the trees an annual reminder of hope and renewal and the opportunity to shed those winter clothes and truly enjoy the outdoors again. As you plan vacations, picnics, summer concerts, etc. we encourage you to include Sunday evenings at the Continental Dance Club. It s a great place to connect with friends and get some good exercise. Don t forget to mark July 12th on your calendar. It s going to be a really special night at CDC, celebrating 60 years of Sunday evening dancing. You will be hearing more about this in the near future. It won t be your usual Sunday evening CDC dance. However, there are many areas where we can use some help from members. For example we are currently seeking someone with some computer skills to help with the monthly updates on our website. Mary Sue Delauter has been doing an awesome job, but has asked to be relieved of her duties. We will truly miss her contribution. If you have an interest, please contact any board member. See you Sunday, and don t forget dance lessons start at 5:45 p.m. If you haven t taken advantage of this amazing opportunity you should give it a try. After 30 years, I still attend as much as I can. We look forward to instruction from Scott and Yulia Shook, our professional dance instructor for May. dance. Our members volunteer because of their love for dancing. We thank Monica Lung professional instructor and our volunteer instructors Laverne & Sally Lutz who taught Foxtrot last month. Candi Perry and a partner will teach beginning East Coast Swing in the small ballroom. The beginners dance lesson is free with paid admission to the April Dance Instruction Both beginning and intermediate dance lessons are available only WITH paid admission to the dance.
