3 Dear Cattle Friends, It is with great pleasure that we invite you to our 4 th Annual High Standards Female Sale at our farm outside Harrod, Ohio. We have been anxiously anticipating this weekend to come for you to visit and look through this our 2008 sale offering. Please accept this letter as your personal invitation from Troy and myself and the rest of us here at Jones Show Cattle to bring your family and come enjoy a great weekend full of great cattle starting November 8, Jones Show Cattle vision for the future is to have one of the best Black Baldy herds in the nation as we stay steadfast in Maine Anjou & Mainetainer genetics. We are very excited about our great line up of ½ blood & ¾ blood Simmental cattle. As you look through our catalog you will note we are using the best genetics in the Maine breed. Our sire battery containing J.S.C. Hot Commodity, Masterpiece, Sooner, HAA Wisdom, and Irish Whiskey. Our Maines are champions in the showing have become proven donors. In the Simmental breed, She s So Sweet 98R is just starting to make a name for herself. Her first 2 ½ calves at public auction have brought in $150,000. High Standards Female Sale J.S.C. and Dennis Moore purchased ½ interest of one of the best purebred Simmentals, Cinderella. Also, in that ownership is Dave Guyer and Scott Shockey. Jones Show Cattle and Hudson Pines each purchased a 1/3 interest in Hobb s heifer which was Supreme Champion Simmental Heifer at the Indiana State Fair. Watch for her this fall. Just to talk about a few of the Black Baldies please take time to look at lots 2, 3, 3A, & & 3A are out of our champion donor KACM Covergirl 1M. 3 could be the best Baldy to sell all fall along with 3A in the Maine breed. Then, take a look at lot 2 & 10, a ½ blood and PB Simmental. What a pair of Black Baldy Heifers. Troy and I will continue to breed and offer true performance-driven cattle that are efficient, deep ribbed, eye appealing, and functional to you, our Customers, in the show ring and in the pasture.
