5 How many practices and games per week on average? No matter the level, student-athletes will have a practice, game, or film session everyday but Sunday. Freshman games on Wednesdays JV games on Thursdays Varsity games on Fridays Fresh Practice 6:30am 8:30am (1 st Period PE) Varsity and JV Practice 3:30pm 5:30pm [Trainer!?!?!] (6 th Period PE) **That s just how long it takes to compete at our level.**

6 Any financial help for students? Lots of Fundraising --> 11 Paid Coaches (28) Yes, discussed with student-athletes and/or parents on a case by case basis. Camps (@ school) a good starting point is: Do you receive Free or Reduced Lunch? Next, what can you afford? (We are NOT going to make money on the backs of kids Camps will be affordable!) Football Camp ( in the mountains ) fundraising incentives. For example Sell 30 BBQ/Chow-Chip Bingo Tickets (RMFA- Easy ) 3 EXTRA Tax Credits (ECA Acct. More Restrictive ) $600 in online donations **WE will make football affordable for ALL who have a desire to play!**

7 Summer workouts Daily Time Commitment? M-TH: Frosh 9am -10:30am JV 7:30am 9am Varsity 6am 7:30am 1½ hours of football skill 1½ hours of strength training

8 Summer workouts What if we already have a 2-3 week vacation planned? Matrix Black and Gray score will suffer, but is not insurmountable NOR terms for [immediate] dismissal. (I would make sure football camp is NOT one of those weeks, as many positions are earned at camp; thus playing time may suffer.)

10 Are there any changes to the Payson camp this year? We are going to camp the week of July 16 th 20 th, most likely, in Payson. (No change in cost, about $340?)

11 How are you making sure the students are keeping their grades up? Student-Athletes are students FIRST! We want to support YOU. Please do not hold us primarily accountable for your child s grades; HOWEVER, weekly grade checks AND 4-day-a-week study hall after school to support YOU, beginning after Spring Break.

12 How do you communicate with parents? Newsletters/Announcements - s via gradebook, RMFA s, calls when necessary, and appointments - also when necessary.

13 What is your communication style with players, individually and as a team? Individually, I like to have them sit with me, so I don t look down on them. Talk kind but candidly, and finish on a positive. As a team, I like to have them repeat, like a choir, so I know they got it.

14 What is your policy for tardiness or missed practice/games? OFF Season: Tardy = 2 miles, then start AND finish workout Missed = Finish current workout, 4 miles, THEN finish missed workout IN Season: Tardy = suspended ¼ Missed = suspended for game Missing Games??? (I question your commitment.)

15 What does an injured player out, but still on the team, look like? Just that he is still part of the team. So, what contribution is he making? Film, water, field setup, etc.? (Don t forget treatment of injury!)
