New Year New Outlook Tuesday, January 8AM - 5PM 8AM & 3:30PM Memory Rescue with Daniel Amen, M.D. 10AM Aging Backwards 2: Connective Tissue Revealed with Miranda Esmonde-White Noon Healthy Brain - Happy Life with Dr. Suzuki 2PM 3 Steps to Incredible Health with Joel Fuhrman, M.D. Tuesday, January 8PM Ring in the New Year with the Vienna Philharmonic under the baton of conductor Christian Thielemann at the Musikverein. Hosted by Hugh Bonneville and featuring favorite Strauss Family waltzes accompanied by the dancing of the Vienna City Ballet. Pluto and Beyond Wednesday, January 8PM The New Horizons spacecraft attempts to fly by a mysterious object known as Ultima Thule, believed to be a primordial building block of the solar system. Three years after taking the first spectacular photos of Pluto, New Horizons is four billion miles from Earth, trying to achieve the most distant flyby in NASA s history. If successful, it will shed light on one of the least understood regions of our solar system: the Kuiper Belt. NOVA is embedded with the New Horizons mission team, following the action in real time as they uncover the secrets of what lies beyond Pluto. Season 8 8PM Beginning January 5 January 5 Mysterious Ways After successfully rekindling their relationship, Louisa and Martin are living together again, but Louisa finds herself juggling too many responsibilities at once. January 12 Sons and Lovers With Janice's departure, Martin and Louisa need to find day care for James, and they settle on Portwenn Tots. January 19 Farewell, My Lovely Louisa's stress is compounded when she must take a group of students on a sailing trip. January 26 Faith Morwenna's missionary parents pay her a surprise visit and are taken aback by her relationship with Al. Saturday, January 9PM Father Brown joins the KPTS Saturday night lineup. A drama based on the stories by GK Chesterton, about a crime-solving Roman Catholic priest. The first episode begins when an ungodly man is murdered at the unveiling of a new church clock. Father Brown must find the killer before an innocent woman is sent to the gallows.

3 7PM Beginning January 8 Season 5 This acclaimed series returns with Professor Gates exploring the mysteries, surprises and revelations hidden in the family trees of popular figures. January 8 Grandparents and Other Strangers Henry Louis Gates, Jr. helps Andy Samberg and George R.R. Martin answer some family mysteries. January 15 Mystery Men Host Henry Louis Gates, Jr. brings Felicity Huffman and Michael K. Williams their family histories. January 22 Reporting on the Reporters Journalists Christiane Amanpour, Ann Curry and Lisa Ling learn their fascinating family histories. January 30 Manuel Noriega Watch Manuel Noriega s rise and fall, from his early military days to his dictatorship s sudden end. Season 3 Defiance Determination Destiny 8PM Beginning January 13 It is 1848, and revolution is breaking out across. In Britain, one woman stands between order and chaos: Queen Victoria. Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) stars as the young but fearless monarch, facing a crisis that threatens to end her reign. January 13 Revolution sweeps across and pressure builds on Victoria with new arrivals at the Palace. January 20 Victoria must decide whether to fight the Chartists or allow them to present their petition. January 27 Albert relishes family time away from London, but Victoria is desperate to get back to the Palace. Sundays, January 13 & 9PM Enjoy a recreation of the wedding that changed British matrimonial ceremonies forever.
