11 News from the P.E. Department All students in P.E. classes this quarter are required to dress for P.E. class. P.E. classes will all be dressing on Monday, August 28th.

12 School Picture Day School picture day is Wednesday, August 30, We will begin taking photos at 8AM. Picture forms were sent home in the first day packets. Additional forms will be available on August 30th. Photos can also be ordered online! More information is located on the FMS webpage. Students are required to follow the school dress code on picture day.

13 Back to School Dance Come and celebrate the beginning of the new school year at the PTC sponsored Back to School Dance! Friday, September 1st from 2:30 to 4:00PM Tickets are $3.00 and can be purchased Friday morning (9/1), lunch and at the door. Activity buses will be available immediately following the dance.

14 From Nurse Smith: Please turn in your physical and shot records! All 6th graders and any student new to District #186 need to have this turned into the guidance office as soon as possible. If they are not turned in BEFORE September 5th, you will be sent home.

17 Baseball News Results from the FMS baseball game against Springfield Christian and... FMS won 10-0!

18 7th and 8th grade GIRLS BASKETBALL Tryouts for 7th and 8th grade begin MONDAY, AUGUST 28 from 2:30-5:00. You must have a physical on file to tryout. If you have any questions, see Coach Borders in Room 118.

20 Mathcounts Mathcounts practice will start Wednesday, August 30th. Mr. Knoepfle will have daily sample problem sets in his room (231). Please stop by and pick one up!
