The HTHS JV Scholars Bowl team won its pool and will advance to its first appearance in the ASCA JV State Tournament. This is an extremely difficult thing to do, and it is something that has not been accomplished at Hewitt-Trussville High! The team had some huge wins against some very tough opponents such as the Altamont School and Southside High School. Congratulations to J.P. Campbell, Jacob Copham, Evan Moore, and Katie Powell for this achievement! They will represent HTHS in Hoover on February 24 at the state tournament. Scholars Bowl Coach is Josh Haynes Great Job Students!

December 8 is one of the board approved 180 student days required for the school year. A State of Emergency was not declared for December 8. Students are required to complete elearning assignments for December 8, Students will have until January 31, 2018 to complete the elearning assignments. Please check the school website for directions to access the elearning assignment or contact your teacher. February 6, 2018 HTMS Gymnasium 6:30 pm The Athletic Program, Staff, and Faculty at Hewitt-Trussville Middle School are proud to announce the arrival of our Thirteenth Annual Charity Basketball Game. The event is a school wide activity that includes all of our basketball teams, cheerleaders, dance team, and athletes from other sports, as well as our band, choir and ambassadors. Since the school year, at the end of basketball season, HTMS has sponsored a charity event to raise money for a worthy cause. This year s charity is Designs for Hope. Designs for Hope is a non-profit that exists to provide sustainable energy, clean water, and other innovative designs in developing countries.
