2 A Message from the President A quick look back at September, I really want to thank Abby Brennan and Betty LeClere. They put together a great weekend for the Art Fest. There were dozens of artists, live music and it brought a steady flow of people through the Grand Blvd. business district. It was an enormous amount for such a small committee, but they did a great job. I am sure this will keep growing and growing. We are now in our last month of one of our greatest achievements over the past few years. Thanks to Patty Weber, Michelle Ryan, Betty LeClere and the whole dedicated group of Farmer's Market volunteers, we are celebrating the 5th anniversary of the market! Thank you everyone for your support. 60 to Win has SOLD OUT! What an accomplishment, thank you Jerry Dobes and Ellen Frantzen for running this so efficiently its an amazing amount of time and diligence. Now I, along with most of you I am sure, just hope they pull my ticket. October will sure to be a great month for us as we are kicking off a new event, the Fall Fest on October 13th at Kiwanis Park. There will be more to come on this, but a huge thank you to Tom Milani, Joann D Altorio and their whole committee that has been working on this for months. It will be a great time for everyone and their families. Please keep in mind our Holiday Walk on December 1st. You should have received your sponsorship information by now, but if you haven t, please let me know. We want to really increase business participation this year and make it the best yet.
