2 Resilite Zip Mat Important Set-up and Safety Information CAREFULLY READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS The Instructions provide specific information regarding the set-up, safe use, care and handling of your new Resilite mat. These instructions DO NOT and ARE NOT meant to cover every possible condition and situation that may occur with your mat. Common sense and caution must be practiced when using, storing and maintaining your mat. The risk of serious injuries or death increases, as does the likelihood of permanent damage to your Resilite mat, if the Set-up and Safety Information provided is not completely followed. Failure to follow the instructions and information provided will VOID any warranty. PREPARING TO SET-UP YOUR ZIP MAT Each mat section is numbered on the BOTTOM ( Foam Side ) of the mat with the Order Number, Section Number and Total Number of Sections. NOTE: The RACK # is used for Resilite internal purposes only l SECTION # OF 5 ORDER # RACK # ROLL MAT FROM OTHER END STEP 1: Unroll SECTION #1 ( L1 ) and SECTION #2 ( L2 ) Working LEFT to RIGHT. L1 L2 L3 L4R R5 R6 R7 L1 L2 L3 L4R R5 R6 R7 NOTE: It is easier to connect two (2) mat sections BEFORE unrolling the other sections. This allows working space as you continue to connect the remaining mat sections together. PAGE 2

SETTING-UP YOUR ZIP MAT STEP 2: Using the supplied 303 AeroSpace Protectant, begin to lubricate the Resi-Lock Connection track.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO LUBRICATE THE CONNECTING TRACKS BEFORE SECURING THE CONNECTION.

If the lubricant gets on the mat surface wipe the area with warm water and a mild dish detergent.

You may have to float air underneath Section #2 so that the Resi-Lock Connection overlaps as shown.

3 SETTING-UP YOUR ZIP MAT STEP 2: Using the supplied 303 AeroSpace Protectant, begin to lubricate the Resi-Lock Connection track. Carefully wipe both the male and female areas of the track. Try not to get the lubricant on the top surface of the mat. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO LUBRICATE THE CONNECTING TRACKS BEFORE SECURING THE CONNECTION. NOTE: The 303 lubricant will not damage the mat surface, but it may make the top mat surface slippery. If the lubricant gets on the mat surface wipe the area with warm water and a mild dish detergent. STEP 3: Align Section 2 so that the male connecting track OVERLAPS the female track of section 1. You may have to float air underneath Section #2 so that the Resi-Lock Connection overlaps as shown. FEMALE TRACK MALE TRACK Lubricate the Female and Male Resi-Lock Connection Tracks NOTE: On each end of the mat there is a small 1/2 area where the female track has been removed. This relief allows for easier release of the Resi-Lock Connection when it is time to roll up the mats. Align the Mat Sections and Overlap the Male and Female Track STEP 4: Use your fingers and/or thumb to lock the first 2-ft of the Resi-Lock Connection securely together. Firmly Press the Resi-Lock Connection to lock the Mat Sections Together PAGE 3

WARNING If a section of the Resi-Lock Connection did not completely snap or lock into place, lubricate that area of the track and firmly press into place with your thumb or roller. Carefully Release the Resi-Lock Connection STEP 2: Once the OVERLAPPING Male track is released, Begin to roll-up the mat section. Begin to Roll-up the Mat Section STEP 3: Once each of the mat sections are rolled, use the supplied straps to secure each roll. Store each mat section on END with the male track of Resi-Lock Connection System facing UP. Store Mat Sections on End PAGE 5
