Culbert PTO After School Activities Program March 4th - April 8th Class Time: 2:40-3:40 Registration Deadline: February 25th 2 Ways to Register/Pay: 1) Fill out enrollment form; check payable to KWC PTO 2) Sign-up Online **All online payment transactions are subject to $3.00 fee** All classes are first come first serve! Monday Basketball (Grades: K-2) Instructor: Brooke Brown Students will learn basketball fundamentals and the rules of the game. Teamwork is very important in basketball and students will be taught how it all works. Looking forward to teaching the kids a sport I m passionate about! (Please wear athletic shoes) Dates: 3/4, 3/11, 3/25, 4/8, 4/22, 4/29 Tuesday Super Sports Mania (Grades: 3-5) Instructor: Scott Wells Come out and join me for an awesome session of Super Sports Mania! Each week we will play a different sport or activity including sports such as basketball, football and matball! Jump Rope Club - Skip Its (Grades: 3-5) Instructor: Courtney Brown Jumping rope is a lot of fun and a great way to move around. In Jump Rope Club you will learn new skills and build on the skills you already have in a positive and fun environment. Skill levels will be assessed on the first day so I can determine the various levels and abilities. A short routine put to music will be our culminating event for parents to come watch on the last day. This is going to be so much fun! Let's get skipping!

2 Ceramics (Grades: K-5) Instructor: Amy Berringer Painting your own ceramics is a fun and easy way to expand your creative skills. Each week we will have a different project for students to work on. Projects are fired in a kiln making them dishwasher and food safe. Fee: $95.00 STEM Art (Grades: K-5) Instructor: Brainiacs Imagination and Pure FUN as our teachers help and guide students in discovering the art of science. STEM Art activities that allow their imagination and creativity to run wild! Flag Football (Grades: K-2) Instructor: Shaun Rohde Learn and practice football skills with Mr. Rohde! Each session, we will work on specific football drills like route running, passing, catching and defensive positioning. We will also have scrimmages each club day, can t wait to see you on the field! Game on! (Please wear athletic shoes and weather appropriate clothing) Video Game Coding w/ Scratch (Grades: 3-5) Instructor: Jonathan Pearson Coding is an important skill - using Scratch, a coding language, students will learn to create and code their own video games and animated cartoons. NOTE: Students should bring a Chromebook or laptop. Scratch does not work on ipads. The Escape Classroom 2.0 (Grades: 2-5) Instructor: Kristi Decker Did you enjoy our first round of Escape Classrooms? Well we have 6 more ready to be unlocked right here at KWC. Students will use problem solving, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration to unlock educational clues to beat the clock and escape the classroom. Each week there will be a different educational topic we explore. This exciting workshop will make our time together fly by will they escape in time? Please note: This class is for students who have already completed Escape Classroom 1.0 with Mrs Decker or by special permission.

3 Slime Time (Grades: 3-5) Instructor: Brittany Cummings Love making slime? This class is for you! We will make a new slime every week for you to take home. The best part is the mess stays at school! Looking forward to creating with you! Fee: $80.00 Wednesday Crazy Kickball (Grades: 3-5) Instructor: Brad Adams Players will be split into two teams. Game is played just like traditional kickball, but with a few twists. If you like to play kickball, or have never played before, come out for some after school exercise and have some fun! I hope to see many former students and new faces out on the field! Super Sports Mania (Grades: K-2) Instructor: Scott Wells Come out and join me for an awesome session of Super Sports Mania! Each week we will play a different sport or activity including sports such as basketball, football and matball! Minecraft Club (Grades: K-2) Instructor: Jonathan Pearson Do you love to build and create in Minecraft? Then Minecraft Club is for you! Join other friends as you build castles, skyscrapers, and rollercoasters. We will also design our Creepers and do other Minecraft activities! **Students will need to bring a fully-charged device to each session. The most updated version of the Minecraft PE app is also required.** The Escape Classroom 1.0 (Grades: 2-5) Instructor: Kristi Decker Have you ever been to an Escape Room? Well we have an Escape Classroom ready to be unlocked right here at KWC. Students will use problem solving, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration to unlock educational clues to beat the clock and escape the classroom. Each week there will be a different educational topic we explore. This exciting workshop will make our time together fly by will they escape in time? Please note: this is Escape Classroom 1.0 for students who have never been enrolled in our ASAP Escape. Please see Escape Classroom 2.0 for returning students.

How is a rainbow made? Why do things seem larger in water? In this class children learn lessons about color, light and science projects about the spectrum of colors TGA Premier Tennis Class (K-5) Instructor: Achille Ikitofon Students will develop tennis skills utilizing kid-friendly equipment in a play to learn style that gets students rallying and having fun right away. In addition, students will learn relevant enrichment skills such as sportsmanship, math, science, technology, history and more! Students will receive a handbook, a wristband, and a hat. All tennis equipment are provided, including racquet and balls. Fee: $85.00 Hip Hop (K-5) Instructor: Message In Motion In this high energy hip hop dance class, students will learn the fundamentals of this increasingly popular dance form including break dancing, popping and locking, and freezes, as well as iconic hip hop movements including the cabbage patch, the moonwalk, the wave, the snake, and more! Class emphasizes rhythm and style, personal expression, choreography, basic strengthening and conditioning, and having fun! Class culminates with an end of session in class parent presentation!
