RESTRICTED PREMIER CLASSIFICATION: Restricted Premier Title: Any Premier dancer who has not received a 1 st, 2 nd, or 3 rd at a registered Championship since 1 January, 2016 and is not entered in the SA State Championship held on 9 March, Restricted Premier Trophy Dance: Any Premier dancer who has not received a 1 st, 2 nd, or 3 rd at a registered Championship since 1 January, 2016 o Please indicate Restricted Premier status when completing the online competition entry. TITLES AND SECTION AGE GROUPS: Age groups for all SA State and Celtic Festival Titles, and individual section or Trophy dances, will be determined on receipt of entries by 1 March, 2019

4 GENERAL INFORMATION: Any rules pertaining to the competition released by SOBHD and ABHDI from the time of printing this schedule and the actual date of the competition will be adhered to. Please consult the SOBHD Constitution and Rules and the ABHDI Handbook for more information. The organiser reserves the right to alter the program if deemed necessary. Any changes will be communicated prior to the day of competition where possible, or prior to the official commencement of dancing at the event. The age of the competitor is taken as of the date of the competition. No entries will be accepted unless accompanied by entry fees or if the dancer is not financially registered with their relevant state/regional committee at the time of entry. No refunds will be paid unless written request (accompanied by a Medical Certificate) is received within 14 days after the competition. Competitors dance at their own risk Videoing of the competition will be at the discretion of the adjudicators. IF it is permitted, it will be monitored by competition organisers to ensure only one dancer is being videoed. Filming of other dancers cannot be done without permission from the parent/guardian or dancer (if over 18). No cameras or recording devices to be used in the change rooms. ABHDI directive from the meeting 1 st Oct 2017 FOLLOWING THE AWARDS, PARENTS MAY PHOTOGRAPH THEIR OWN CHILD OR OTHERS WITH PARENTAL PERMISSION BUT BE HIGHLY AWARE THAT THERE MUST NOT BE OTHER CHILDREN IN SHOT WHOSE PRIVACY MUST BE PROTECTED. AS ORGANISERS OF THIS EVENT, WE PLAN TO PHOTOGRAPH WINNING COMPETITORS FOR THE PURPOSE OF POSTING ON OUR WEBSITE AND OR FACEBOOK PAGE. PLEASE INDICATE IF YOU WISH TO OPT OUT OF THIS PROCESS IMPORTANT NOTE: - Competition Dress Rules. In order to meet the requirements of the Child Protection Legislation, ALL competitors are to use the allocated dressing rooms to change in. ALL competitors must be modestly attired at all times; a T-shirt, or similar, must be worn if vest or jacket is removed. Protest Rule as per SOBHD Constitution and Rules, Section XVIII: Any complaint made by an individual against the organisation or adjudication of an event must be made in writing giving the complainant s full name and address, and shall be lodged with the organiser if possible on the day of the event and certainly not later than 48 hours after the event. Such a complaint to be accompanied by a set fee as determined by the ABHDI which is refundable if protest is upheld. Reel Fill-ins: If a competitor fails to fill in unless for a medical reason the organiser has the right to enforce Rule 1g), Page 42 D-Judges, SOBHD Rules and Regulations, which reads: Provide due prominence is given to the fact in the programme or in a brochure by the Organiser, then during the course of a competition the comportment of the competitors may come under the jurisdiction of the judges, not only whilst dancing, but also when entering or leaving the platform and whilst waiting for the dance to start. Any unseemly behaviour on the part of a competitor or any misdemeanour likely to upset the decorum of the proceedings may be penalised by the judges and could lead to disqualification, but a full report of any such misconduct on the part of a competitor must be submitted by the judges to the organiser. Dancers to please arrive 15 mins prior to the scheduled start time and to be dressed in practice clothes in accordance with SOBHD modest attire expectations and warmed up ready to start the session.
