Please read over carefully, highlight, mark on your calendar, and get ready for an exciting time of year! It is very important that parents who volunteer be able to be at ALL of the rehearsals and shows. Practices will be held on Saturday afternoons. If you are interested, please stormdancealliance.office@gmail.com. Parents who volunteer will receive two free tickets to show of their choice! We will also be looking for Room Mom volunteers! These moms will help take care of our dancers while they are not onstage during the show. Please stormdancealliance.office@gmail.com to sign up! There will be an information meeting as we get closer to the show.

2 COSTUME FITTING It is VERY important that each dancer get fitted and try on their costumes. This gives us plenty of time for any alterations or adjustments that will need to be made. Friday, October 6 th Costume fitting schedule: 4:30 5:30pm Ages 5 & under 5:30 7:00pm Ages 6 to 8 7:00 8:30pm Ages 9 to 12 8:30 9:30pm Ages 13 & Over **You will be taking your costumes home with you on this day. **Once you pick up your costumes, you will be responsible for keeping the costumes and all of its pieces in the garment bag clean, and in good shape. Please do not have your dancer practice in or wear their costumes at home. The costumes cannot be replaced before the show. In addition, you will be responsible for any damage to the costumes. Please take good care of your costumes! You will need your costumes for photo day (Nov. 5 th ), and dress rehearsals at Oswego East High School (Dec. 7 th ). You will bring your costumes to Tech Rehearsal on December 6 th at OEHS and costumes will remain at OEHS until the end of the Sunday show. You will need to place each of your costumes in their respective bins once you are done dancing in them.

12 Make-Up & Hair for all Female Dancers HAIR: Use a hairnet, gel, lots of hairspray, and a bun donut on all buns. *No wispy hair allowed. *Use a fine tooth comb and gel to pull your bun up. It helps if the hair is wet. *Use a Bun Donut to create the bun. Can be purchased at Claire s, Sally s, Ulta, etc. *Top of your Bun with a Hairnet. (Hairnets can be purchased at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, etc. Match Hairnet to child hair color as close as possible). If you need help with the hair, please ask one of your teachers! They will be happy to assist you. MAKE-UP: **Make Up should be a little lighter on Photo Day, and darker on Dress Rehearsal and Show Days. 1. FOUNDATION - Please use a foundation that matches your child s skin tone. Blend foundation into hairline, ears, and neck. **Bronzer is a great topper, especially this time of year! 2. EYE SHADOW - Pretty Browns/Dark and Light, any brand is fine. Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eye Shadow in Moonlit is a good example and it can be purchased at Walgreens, Target, etc. 3. LIP STICK - Maybelline SuperStay 24 2-Step Lipcolor in Timeless Rose 4. LIP GLOSS - Use the gloss at the other end of the lipstick, once the lipstick is DRY. 5. MASCARA - Any brand of waterproof is good. 6. BLUSH - Any brand of pink is good. 7. EYELINER - Use an Onyx or Black soft eyeliner. A good example is the Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner Pencil in Black *Please, no pencils or liquid eyeliner. Pre-school aged dancers 5 and under do not need to wear eyeliner! 8. EYE LASHES - Optional for younger dancers. Any brand of plain black ones, easy to find at Walgreens, Target, etc. ALL older dancers need to wear false eyelashes for both shows. ***COMPANY DANCERS - you will use your company make-up. Please make sure you have your eyelashes on for all Pictures and Performances!

15 SHOW WEEK INFORMATION Wednesday, December 6 th. Rehearsal at Oswego East High School Pizza will be sold at OESH for $5.00. This includes 2 Slices of pizza and a beverage. Dancers can eat during rehearsal... we will eat in the room on the sides when their group is not dancing. **No Pre-Order Necessary just bring the $5.00 when you come! ATTIRE: GIRLS: Black Leotard (Convertible tights for Tumblers) Hair in a Gelled Bun. BOYS: Black Pants or Shorts Black T-Shirt Proper Footwear *DADS, you will try on Tuxes tonight! Bring black dress socks! IMPORTANT! Costumes must be brought to Tech Rehearsal on Wednesday and checked in with the Costume Moms! 21 Show Day Information Saturday, December 9 th: The Show is at 6pm Room Mom Arrival Time: 4:45 pm Dancer Arrival Time: 5pm. *Enter through the front doors of the school. Auditorium Doors Open: 5:30pm! + Leave all costumes IN THE DRESSING ROOMS after the show. Party Scene will be on stage at 5:30 pm. Sunday, December 10 th: The Show is at 2pm Room Mom Arrival: 12:45pm Dancer Arrival Time: 1pm Auditorium Doors Open: 1:30 pm! ** Costumes will be turned in throughout the Final show by room moms... your second half costume must be checked in by a parent before you leave with the costume check in committee, or you will be charged for your dancer s costume in full. + We will have a short Cast Reception in the cafeteria immediately following the Sunday Show! Please join us for special treats and punch! (All costumes must be checked in before heading to the Reception area!) + Don t Forget!! There is an autograph session after each show!
