1 Dance Machine SCHEDULE (March 30-31) West Memphis Civic Center 228 Polk Ave, West Memphis, AR Remember to be at the facility and checked in on poster 2 hours before scheduled time or a $25 late fee is charged (If you are scheduled within the first 2 hours of competition, be there before the show begins.) NO CAMERAS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED IN THE AUDITORIUM! At Dance Machine, the ages (as of Jan. 1, 2019) are averaged and judging is as follows... Age Groups: Mini Division (8 & under) Petite Division (9-10) Junior Division (11-12) Teen Division (13-14) Senior Division (15-19) There should be a minimum of three entries for an overall age division/level to be included for Top Score Awards, if there are not at least three entries it may be combined with the closest age division/level. If there are enough 6 & under Entries a Tiny Division will be created for a Regional Competition. Levels: Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced (levels according to class hours per week) Award Points required for each award level Power Platinum ( ) Platinum ( ) Elite Gold ( ) High Gold ( ) Gold (250 or less) So no matter how many are in your category, you can still get any placing. Everyone can get the same placing if the scores all fall in the same range. Each act receives an award for their placing. Overalls will include all disciplines of a certain age, group size and level (i.e. All Encore Solos ages 8 and under, etc.) and will receive an award. Any cash prices will be placed in dancer s fundraising account. Awards won by soloists as well as Duets/Trios may be kept by the soloist. Group awards will be kept at the studio. All members of a group will receive a participation pin. Exit at Missouri St. just past Southland Greyhound Park. Turning left onto Missouri St. to travel South. After crossing Broadway (Missouri St turns into Woods St., turn right on W. Polk. The Civic Center is on the left (Parking lot is entered off a street across the back of the Civic Center).
