2 RECENT WEBSITE ADDITIONS: 25th ANNIVERSARY PICTURES: To view these pictures, go to the school website under NCCS Family and you will see a link for the pictures. Enjoy! MEET THE STAFF pages: To view this, go to NCCS Family then Meet the Staff! MARCH CLEANING SCHEDULE: The March Cleaning Schedule is posted on the website Please contact Nancy Hammock if you have any questions or if there are conflicts with the days you are scheduled to clean. Nancy may be reached at: DID I HEAR THAT YOU RE COMING TO CLEAN MY ZOO SOON? The biggest fundraiser of the year-- Warriors Classic-- will be taking place soon. The fundraising team is excited about doing a serve-a-thon in conjunction with fundraising it fits with who we are as a school and our fundraising objective to be effective and efficient. At this time, all students will be serving at Potter Park Zoo on April 16 th. This will be a HUGE help to Potter Park as they prepare for a big event. It should also be a fun location for the students. We re going to have fun while making money for our awesome school. Packets will be available at our March 8 th Parent Teacher Coalition meeting. VALENTINES EXTRAVAGANZA DVDs: IT S NOT TOO LATE! Valentines Extravaganza DVDs are still available for $10! If you would still like to purchase a DVD and help support the Senior Class, please contact one of the seniors or the school office at All proceeds go towards the Senior Class mission trip in May. Thanks for supporting our seniors! Last Week to Turn in Box Tops for the School Year! Just a quick reminder to turn in all of your Box Tops for this school year by Wednesday, February 24 (there is no school on the 25 th and 26 th ). The final order of the year will be mailed the end of February. Each coupon returned brings in money to the school! Thank you to all of our wonderful NCCS families who have helped our school with Box Tops, Campbell s Soup UPC Labels and Tyson A+ Labels! These are easy ways to earn money and items for the school that don't cost you anything if you are already purchasing these products. Drop boxes for all three programs are located just across from the NCCS office.
3 WANT AN OIL FIRESTONE FOR $10? There are only 20 coupon books leftover from our fall fundraiser. We are selling them for $10 each. Five dollars from each calendar sold will be donated to the NCCS Basketball program. The coupons expire at the end of June which is why we re selling them so cheap. There are lots of golf coupons for that spring and early summer golfer, restaurants, and the free oil change at Firestone. USE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES: Mr. Hazeltine would like to remind parents of elementary students that electronic toys and games should not be brought to school. In addition to avoiding the risk of loss or damage, we would like our students to be engaged in more creative physical and verbal play. In the older grades, the concern is with cell phones. These may be brought to school but must be off between the hours of 8:30AM and 3:00PM. Thank you for your cooperation. SAT TESTING: NCCS students will take SAT tests the week of April It is important for students to be in school and on time for these tests. Parents, please do not schedule your student(s) for medical appointments during school hours this week. NCCS 23 rd ANNUAL TALENT SHOW: NCCS has many gifted performers and artists thrilled to share their talents with all of us! The Talent Show is a school fundraiser for the Senior Class mission trip. There will be a silent auction with lots of cool stuff you can bid on and win! The night is known to be a fantastic time for all who come! Our students have lots of fun preparing for and presenting their talents to everyone who comes. The Talent Show consists of musicians, comics, skits, dramas, and there are always a few surprises in store for you. Mark your calendars; you will not want to miss this! WHEN: Friday, March 26 TIME: 7:00-9:00pm WHERE: New Covenant Christian School TRYOUTS: We are allowing two acts maximum per person.
