3 Admin Message Dear Members and WOTM, Financially the lodge is doing GREAT! There are a few things that we need to work on. Some of these maybe out of my realm of experience. I believe that we all need to work together to find more ways that we can raise money to fulfill our obligations at Moose Heart, Moose Haven, Moose International and our community. If you have any creative ideas please come to one of the membership meetings and let the Board know. I can t do this alone, so it will take all of us to come and work together. My hopes and prayers are with all my brothers and sisters for a very prosperous and eventful year. Please bear with me because I m new at all of this. Fraternally, Robert Martin Administrator Jr. Governor s Message Dear Members and WOTM, We are going forward and things are doing better. We will start having more events for your enjoyment, so come out to the Lodge and have fun plus you will be helping the children at Moose Heart at the same time. We all need to show respect to one another as individuals, so lets work together and make this the Lodge to be at! (Changes are coming!) Bigger and better. Nominations Committee is now taking names for Lodge officers, so if you want to run fill out a slip and put in the box. Meetings will be March 3rd, March 10th, March 17th at 12PM. Come check out our daily lunch and dinner specials. Oh we need help at the events so if you can help just let us know. The officers and I are here to help you. If you have a problem with something please come to the meeting where we can take care of the problem or talk to me. Moose of the Month: Don Carwile. Thank you for everything you do around the lodge. 4 The W.O.T.M. News: Our The WOTM would like to thank everyone for an awesome turn out to the Valentines dance. The elections are drawing to a close. Co-workers that wish to run for office for the 2019/2020 Chapter year are requested to submit an application prior to 6:00pm on March 4, Applications are located on the ballot box and can be dropped in the ballot box located in the social quarters. Please see Sandra Milburn, Lori Kirby, Madie Richardson, Wendy Brooks or Jan Scarbrough if you have any questions. Please consider running for an office to help our Women of the Moose Chapter be the best it can be. Don't forget to come out and vote on March 18th. Our Woman of the Month for March will be Rebecca Grant. Thank you Becky for your support. Enjoy your parking spot. WOTM Family Bingo night in the Social Quarters is on March 2 nd and March 16 th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 13 th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. will be our annual Children s Easter Party and Egg Hunt (outdoors if weather permitting). 6 ~Question & Answer ~ Who is in charge of the Social Quarters? The Bartender on duty is solely in charge of the Social Quarters and responsible for maintaining decorum. ATTENDANCE AWARD You can come into the lodge each week to sign the book and pay $1. Each Friday night at 9pm, we randomly draw the name of a current lodge member. If we draw your name and you signed the book that week, you win the money. If there is no winner, the money rolls over to the next week. 7 ~Reminders to Members & Guests~ Just a friendly reminder that when you come into the Lodge you need to show your Moose Card before making any purchase For our Moose Guest, you will need to sign them in the book and they can only be signed in Twice before they have to join. Guests can t play or purchase anything while they are in the lodge. Once the member leaves the guest has to leave as well. Also, please remember, if you re a member not in good standing (Dues expired), you re not eligible to be a guest. PREFERRED MEMBER AWARD When a male signs up a new Male member to the lodge your name gets put on the board under Preferred members. That means each day you come in you get 1 free drink. It is your responsibility to let the bartender know your name is on the board. International Moose on A Mission Campaign LOOM Membership Drive: Sign up 2 members within 6 months from: to and get 1 year dues paid.
